Restored 1940s Art Deco Apartment in Santa María La Ribera

This is a 57 square meter apartment with very high brick ceilings, a large living room and dining area with a lot of light. Find authentic chic mid century furniture and several art pieces. The apartment has a private bedroom with queen size bed, closet and bathroom and a separate kitchen with supplies. It also has two small inner patios for light and ventilation. A lot of original architecture details from 1940 like floors, brick walls, ceiling and windows frames were conserved in the restoration. The project was recently featured in Architectural Digest Mexico and won several important architecture prizes: Architecture Masterprize and NoldiSchreck. Guest may use the whole apartment. You can also hang out in the inner patio of the condo and first floor lobby. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer you can use next to the garage. Santa María La Ribera is a historic 19th-century neighborhood. Stroll in the Alameda Park opposite, then visit the nearby Museo de Geología. Here, gaze at mammoth and dinosaurs fossils, plus paintings by the famous Mexican master Jose María Velasco. You'll find a lot of public transportations options including subway, metrobus (direct line to the airport and historic center), train, bus and public bike system (ecobici). Metrobus Linea 4 norte is a direct connection from the airport T1 and T2 to Buenavista and back. Takes about 45 min. 30 Pesos/person, a rechargable Metrocard is need. Safe, quick and direct way to and from the airport.

You can access to the apartment 303 and the roof terrace. If you need anything or have any doubt, you can always reach me through the system or in my cell phone. It will be a pleasure to make your stay a great experience. The loft is in a former hotel in a prime location on historic Madero Street, between Bellas Artes and the Zocalo. It's walking distance to major attractions, and is close to public transportation. Ideally, use google maps to orient yourself around the city. El Nido was everything we hoped for and more! The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home, including a puzzle that kept us entertained for a rainy night in. Patricia guided us on a 4 hour tour of the park- her soothing presence and words bringing to life the architect’s vision. Communication was very clear and detailed leading up to our stay including details on groceries and a taxi service. We can’t wait to return!

Scarlet’s apartment made it hard to return to “normal life.” A dreamy blend of garden, treehouse, and modern glass box, this space was the perfect home base for our CDMX vacation. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and welcomed. The building has fantastic 24/7 security — always warm, smiling, and ready to help. You enter through a stunning, Asian-inspired courtyard framed by towering brutalist facades, and take a private elevator straight to the apartment. Tucked on a quiet street in Condesa, the apartment is just a short walk to Parque Espana and countless excellent shops, cafés, and restaurants — or a quick, affordable Uber to the busier boutique strips. Inside, the space is spotless, well air-conditioned, and incredibly comfortable. Stay with Scarlet. You won’t regret it.
