Nice cosy Studio flat on the top floor overlooking the sea. Located in perfect position in the historic center. Just what you need to visit Pizzo, all the natural attractions and the beautiful beaches nearby.
“Franco is an extraordinary host. He's Always available for everything you need. The flat is really cozy and it's like a mini-museum. Since Franco traveled a lot, there are so many souvenirs and pictures from all over the world! The kitchen is well equiped, as well as the bathroom, there is also a "First Aid kit box". However, the best thing is that Franco's house is located in a perfect area. A couple of minutes walking and you get to the main street of the city center, where you can taste the amazing "Tartufo" icecream (and don't forget to ask for an "Orzata" too !!). Right there lies the famous Murat Castle. Take some time to enjoy the stunning seaview (the sunset leaves you breathless also when it's a bit cloudy). It takes just a few minutes more (probably about 10min) to get to the beach "Marina di Pizzo", where you can find lots of restaurants. Franco is an exceptional owner, always available, for anything. The apartment is very nice, welcoming and is like a mini-museum. Since Franco has traveled extensively, the house hosts many souvenirs and photos of his travels. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped with all the necessary accessories, there is also a drawer with everything needed for first aid. However, the best thing is the location! The apartment is located a couple of minutes walk from the main street of the center, where you absolutely must taste the Pizzo 'Truffle', but also the Orzata (an almond granita)! Right there you will also find the famous Murat castle, from which you can admire the splendid view of the sea and the sunset above all, which will leave you breathless! With a few more minutes you can easily reach the 'Marina di Pizzo'. The beach is not very large but the sea is beautiful and there are also many restaurants on the promenade where you can stop for lunch / dinner.”
The 'Residence 28' is situated in the antient heart of Pizzo, set between narrow streets and tiny squares which forms the old town. The B&B is just few meters away from 'Piazza della Repubblica', a vivid and famous meeting place with a stunning view over the sea where you can admire the entire Sant'Eufemia gulf and gracious Aeolian Islands. Pizzo, famous for its restaurants, hand made ice-cream and its beaches, is in a hand reach of other important touristic destinations such as Tropea, Zambrone, Briatico and stunning rocks of Capo Vaticano. The 'Residenza 28', a newly redecorated antient house, is a spacious and cosy apartment composed of a sunny living kitchen area and a spacious king size bedroom. A one and a half place sofa bed in living area permits a staying of more than 2 people. B&B is ristructured in modern style without removing antient details of traditional Mediteranian architecture. The 'Residenza 28' is a perfect place for a short escape or long holidays for anyone . All modern comforts are included. Even more, despite the antient massive walls the apartment is cool in summer and warm during winter; both rooms has got air conditioners. Nothing is far from the 'Residenza 28'! In a walking distance you can reach the main cultural and touristic atractions of the town; from the antient castle to the beaches of a small and pittorescque Medditerranean village.
This unique apartment is located in a restored vaulted stone cellar in an over 200 year old palazzo perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. Relax on your private garden terrace, enjoy the late morning sun, have an aperitivo while watching the sunset. From this quiet residential area of the oldest part of Pizzo's centro storico it's just a 2 min walk to the lively main square with a good choice of restaurants, bars and grocery shops. The local beach is a 10-15 min walk downhill.
“Staying at Susan’s apartment is a truly magical experience. We thought the photos looked beautiful but they cannot do the property and the spectacular views justice. The old stone walls and ceiling keep the apartment nice and cool, although there is AC if you need it, while also making it feel cozy. The balcony is very private and perfect for eating meals outside with endless views of the sea. The town of Pizzo is also lovely, it has a very clean beach with the clearest water to swim in. We would highly recommend a stay here.”
