Holiday rentals with lake access in San Pedro La Laguna

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

Jean’s place on lake Atitlan is just beautiful. So green, and the birdsong in the morning is wonderful. Lovely views of the volcanos from the roof and down by the lake. We really enjoyed the paddle boarding and kayak. Even in the rainy season it was beautiful in the mornings and we hailed a lancha from jean’s dock, so very convenient. (Walkable or Tuktuk-able to San Marcos or tzununa). Just a lovely time and so nice to meet Jean and Joaquin who was very helpful!

We loved staying at Nicolas’ home! It was so peaceful and beautiful. The views are amazing and loved waking up to a beautiful view in the morning. Although our trip was short, we enlisted every minute of it! The location is a bit far from the lively cities but the boat rides are pretty consistent so getting around was not difficult at all. Not to mention Nicola’s had recommended to us the best way of transportation around cities so that was help for sure.

We had a little family vacation here and it was everything is was advertised to be and more! The staff are all very helpful and responsive. Salvador the property manager was incredible! From keeping the pool clean between our times in to doing grocery runs into the city, he was amazing. All the activities listed were so fun and very family friendly! The rooms were all very clean and there was even bug spray to help with the incests outside. All the local contacts for boat and tour services were also incredibly sweet. Very considerate, accommodating and for a friendly price! Overall, we would definitely consider coming back should we ever want to visit Atitlan and the surrounding towns.

Casa Blanca was absolutely stunning! The views were great, the house was pristine, and the staff were incredible. There was always someone there to help and they were always ready to respond to our messages and help. We can’t speak more highly of our time there. They gave us great recommendations, and helped us arrange rides to and from our dock.

The house is gorgeous and clean, Maria and Rudy are very kind and helpful and there are dogs and a cat that come visit who are very sweet and playful.

What a great place... the views, the lake, and the greenery all around. This Airbnb is slightly off the main road but very walkable with a cool little shortcut down by the lake that gets you access to the heart of San Marcos in no time. Augustus and his partner were the best hosts I've ever encountered on Airbnb. They left a present of homemade kombucha (using harvested fruits form the garden) in the fridge, offered to light up the sauna, and allowed us to use their paddleboards during our stay. He gave us personal recommendations for food, drinks, and numbers to cab which made our stay 1000 times easier. This stay may not be for the less active/ luxury seeking travelers, but it's the perfect spot for anyone who wants to relax, take in some nature, and get in touch with some locals and the outdoors. Thank you Augustus for all of your generosity and the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy what Guatemala has to offer. 🙏🏻

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

Great place to stay! I would recommend it for its price point, location and nice host. Pros: - The host, Samuel, was extremely responsive and friendly. He offered lots of recommendations. - They proactively offered early check in. - Location is conveniently on the “tourist street” near the public boat docks, so it’s easy to get around. - Spacious living room. One of the rooms is also very spacious with modern AC. Cons: - Had water issues for about 90 minutes but Samuel resolved it quickly - Location means that it can be loud at night - Difficult to control shower temperature (there’s only cold, lukewarm and very hot)

An excellent place... the people who welcomed us were very friendly, we had a small problem we went to buy in the nearby shops to cook some dinner and they sold us out all but the people who received us on the Airbnb helped us a lot and gave us of their food are very noble people and good heart we felt like at home ... as a recommendation for those who go they should be careful with the curves

We had a really nice stay here! The location is perfect, very calm neighborhood but still only a few minutes away from the city center. We would definitely stay here again, if we come back to Lake Atitlan!

We've booked the place for almost a week because I needed to do a bit of remote work and to have at least a good view (which was indeed very beautiful over the lake :-) ) + Clemente is very friendly and helpful; he was a bit sick at the time, but was very responsive and sent his son for check-in. Also when the nights were a bit colder then expected, he also sent over immediately a friend for an extra blanket, when we wrote him :-) + Beautiful view - Can be very loud at night, because of all the partying in San Pedro, so bring earplugs - some furniture was a bit dusty - at the beginning we were a bit afraid of the electrical shower head, because it uses so much energy that the lights get dimmer and it seemed to have no grounding... (but apparently such shower heads for hot water are very common in central america and we actually had no problems) + well enough equipped kitchen to prepare your own foods Overall i really recommend the place if you want to stay a bit in San Pedro, especia

We really enjoyed our stay at Rocio's place, the views are absolutely stunning! It was so peaceful and we enjoyed the fireplace upstairs. Would love to return one day!

I felt immediately at home in Tzanabaj! Nico and Venus are great hosts and I loved my studio! right by the lake, peaceful, while also close to the city center (10 min tuk tuk), where the restaurants and supermarkets can be found. There is also a beautiful community living in the other houses, so you can have your privacy and socialise with other like-minded people if you want. Totally recommend!

We had the most incredible stay! Warren was a thoughtful host! Attentive and always available if we had any questions. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect! Peaceful, beautifully maintained, and a beautiful view of the lake. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable time. Thank you!

a very nice and quiet place. with many public spaces and quiet had an amazing view when you walk out of the cabin. the lack of outside lights during the night especially during check-in made it somewhat difficult. was a little dusty and with cobwebs. the use of the facilities was somewhat complicated in jacuzzi it was empty and turned off in sauna the same and the equipment to make kayac was all under key every time I think q not making a reservation directly with the accommodation it feels like we are not so important to give us that part of the service.

Galileo is so caring and kind. He help us to take the luggage from the private deck to the house, and when we check out, he helped us to get on a boat to our next destination. He is very caring for his guests. For the property, one thing to note is that the shower head on the top is out of service, so you can only use the handheld shower head. But everything else is super good. Santa Cruz is a quiet town if you want to get dinner you have to reserve beforehand with the local restaurant.

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in San Marcos, I would recommend this Airbnb. The house is located next to the nature reserve which offers great areas for cliff jumping and swimming. The house shares a dock/swimming area with two other homes. Accessing the home is convenient if you walk through the nature reserve during business hours or a 15 minute walk uphill to town. The house has some pots and pans in the kitchen but not fully stocked with oil, salt and pepper etc. Victor is on-site and was very helpful with answering our questions about the place. We visited in June and saw a couple of large spiders and bugs in the house, but they were mostly in the main room next to the door/windows.

My friend and I had a lovely few day stay in Becca's place. It was nice to have our own little part of Santiago - lovely views of the lake and nearby volcano, a great restaurant on the premises, and of course, the cabin itself was well appointed. There was lots of purified water, a great kitchen with fridge and comfortable bedding. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a special stay while visiting Santiago, and Lago Atitlan..

Second stay here- it won’t be my last. Very grateful for such amazing hosts.

One of the best Airbnb's I've ever stayed at. If you're on the fence, PICK THIS ONE, I swear. The location: close enough to Panajachel to take a $10Q tuctuc easily (Daniela's has recommendations of trusted drivers), but far enough to be away from the chaos. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. Better than the photos. The deck is the perfect place to do some yoga in the morning, or sip coffee overlooking the lake. Amenities: everything listed and then some. The bathtub is amazing. Paddleboards available for use at the private beach. I learned how to use an Italian coffee maker as well. Daniela was lovely, ask her about paragliding :) She was super responsive and helpful answering all of my questions about Pana, nearby towns, and best ways to get around.
