Holiday rentals with lake access in San Pedro La Laguna

Jean’s place on lake Atitlan is just beautiful. So green, and the birdsong in the morning is wonderful. Lovely views of the volcanos from the roof and down by the lake. We really enjoyed the paddle boarding and kayak. Even in the rainy season it was beautiful in the mornings and we hailed a lancha from jean’s dock, so very convenient. (Walkable or Tuktuk-able to San Marcos or tzununa). Just a lovely time and so nice to meet Jean and Joaquin who was very helpful!

Christian and his family were great hosts who welcomed us to their place. I had the pleasure of staying here for three nights, and I couldn't have asked for a warmer, more welcoming experience. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. My kid enjoyed spending time with their children, from playing games to hanging out at the terrace. The home was clean, cozy, and full of positive energy. It had a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, functional bathroom and we felt safe the entire time. Christian gave us a tour of the place and provided suggestions on nearby attractions and restaurants. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay that feels more like visiting family than just booking a place! :)

Estamos sumamente agradecidos por las personas que trabajan en la casa. Comenzando con Aarón por la excelente comunicación, siempre resolvía y respondía rápido. Verónica y las demás chicas, nos entregaron esa casa limpia y con todo lo que necesitábamos. Y Edgar y Eliseo fueron excelentes anfitriones, siempre pendientes a nosotros y los alrededores. La casa es perfecta, el lugar perfecto y las personas que conocimos también. Gracias por tremenda experiencia, 100% recomendado. No se arrepentirán de levantarse en esa casa.

What a great place... the views, the lake, and the greenery all around. This Airbnb is slightly off the main road but very walkable with a cool little shortcut down by the lake that gets you access to the heart of San Marcos in no time. Augustus and his partner were the best hosts I've ever encountered on Airbnb. They left a present of homemade kombucha (using harvested fruits form the garden) in the fridge, offered to light up the sauna, and allowed us to use their paddleboards during our stay. He gave us personal recommendations for food, drinks, and numbers to cab which made our stay 1000 times easier. This stay may not be for the less active/ luxury seeking travelers, but it's the perfect spot for anyone who wants to relax, take in some nature, and get in touch with some locals and the outdoors. Thank you Augustus for all of your generosity and the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy what Guatemala has to offer. 🙏🏻

Awesome stay. I would love to come back

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, with easy access to everything including the town center and dock. Our property managers Chris and Kris were incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the stay even better. We arrived at 12:30 and Chris welcomed us and gave us a tour even before our check in time. There are also tons of on-site activities available (for an extra cost), which added so much value to our trip. If you're visiting San Marcos, this is the place to stay. Everything was great, although the bathroom was a little smaller than desired and the shower space was not well designed.

This house is absolutely stunning! From the private dock to the views of the volcano. This house has something for everyone. I highly recommend if you have a group of 4 or more to book this house. The Hostest is absolutely incredible and super helpful with helping us coordinate transportation as well all of our excursions. I am so thankful of how lovely both Alvaro and the rest of the staff were sooo accommodating.

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

The best view I’ve ever had at an Airbnb! The balcony was a dream, and the grounds that the apartment is based on are gorgeous. Deedle and Claudia were super responsive and helpful, and Diego was a superstar! We loved our time here.

The place has an amazing view—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The check-in instructions were clear and everything went smoothly without any delays. Jenny and Clemens’s place is truly magical and an ideal spot for first-timers visiting Lake Atitlán. We instantly fell in love with the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere during our two-day stay. From the start, Jenny and Clemens were incredibly welcoming and responsive. They helped us arrange roundtrip shuttle service from Antigua and even organized a private lancha to reach their home, making everything so easy. Thanks to their great location, we could walk to nearby spots like Casa del Mundo, Isla Verde, and even take a cooking class in Santa Cruz. Getting around by public lanchas were also simple. Just flag one down at the dock, and the drivers know exactly where to drop you off on your return.

We've booked the place for almost a week because I needed to do a bit of remote work and to have at least a good view (which was indeed very beautiful over the lake :-) ) + Clemente is very friendly and helpful; he was a bit sick at the time, but was very responsive and sent his son for check-in. Also when the nights were a bit colder then expected, he also sent over immediately a friend for an extra blanket, when we wrote him :-) + Beautiful view - Can be very loud at night, because of all the partying in San Pedro, so bring earplugs - some furniture was a bit dusty - at the beginning we were a bit afraid of the electrical shower head, because it uses so much energy that the lights get dimmer and it seemed to have no grounding... (but apparently such shower heads for hot water are very common in central america and we actually had no problems) + well enough equipped kitchen to prepare your own foods Overall i really recommend the place if you want to stay a bit in San Pedro, especia

We had a lovely stay here on Lake Aitlan. It was so homely, Nico was very welcoming when we first arrived and throughout the trip, along with Venus and Mary - they were all so helpful. The views were incredible for the platform and so relaxing! All the villages were in easy reach via boat or tuk tuk. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to be surrounded by a lovely community in a peaceful location.

The most tranquil peaceful pad with all you need, friendly people and busy local town a stone throw away. Boat rides easily accessible and frequent making it easy to reach other towns to explore. Tranquil beach walk from the house to the village. A little veranda and lawn to take in the lake and volcano. Views will be missed. 5 stars. 😊

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans cet Airbnb. La vue à partir de la terrasse vaut à elle seule la location. La localisation était parfaite, un peu excentrée du village pour plus de tranquillité, mais près de tout. La famille qui vit au rez-de-chaussée est très serviable et sympathique. C’était rassurant de savoir qu’ils étaient sur place. Bref, nous nous sommes sentis à la maison et nous espérons y revenir un jour! Merci pour votre accueil!!!!!

We had the most incredible stay! Warren was a thoughtful host! Attentive and always available if we had any questions. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect! Peaceful, beautifully maintained, and a beautiful view of the lake. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable time. Thank you!

Nos quedamos con nuestras dos niñas (5 y 2 años) el lugar muy apto para ellas, estuvimos muy cómodos, las camas y sábanas muy cómodas. Mucha naturaleza, nos encantó la opción de piscina, y jacuzzi con vista al lago. Vimos el atardecer en un kayak, logramos hacer el tour de birdwathching y logramos ver el Quetzal, también tomamos tuc tuc al pueblo y tomamos tour en lancha alrededor del lago. Nos la pasamos muy bien! Nos brindaron toallas para piscina y aparte para bañarse! Si quieres cocinar, lleva aceite, sal, azúcar. Del restaurante la Posada nos encantaron las quesadillas y el sandwich de lomito!

un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo. con muchis espacios públicos y tranquilidad tenia una vista increíble cuando sales de la cabaña. la falta de luces exteriores durante la noche en especial durante el check in lo hizo algo dificil. estaba algo polvozo y con telarañas. el uso de las instalaciones fue algo complicado en jacuzzi estaba vacío y apagado en sauna igual I los equipos para hacer kayac estaba todos bajo llave cada vez pienso q al no hacer una reservacion directamente con el alojamiento se siente como q no somos tan importantes como para darnos esa parte del servicio.

Galileo is so caring and kind. He help us to take the luggage from the private deck to the house, and when we check out, he helped us to get on a boat to our next destination. He is very caring for his guests. For the property, one thing to note is that the shower head on the top is out of service, so you can only use the handheld shower head. But everything else is super good. Santa Cruz is a quiet town if you want to get dinner you have to reserve beforehand with the local restaurant.

Casita del Sol is a very special place in Santa Cruz. I came to do some soul healing and the casita was the perfect place. Marcelo the guardian was very helpful during the stay. I especially enjoyed the quiet, surrounding nature, incredible views, and private garden where I could meditate peacefully. There are also 2 little kitties that came to say hello everyday. Loved my stay here, Pat was very responsive and helpful. Thank you

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in San Marcos, I would recommend this Airbnb. The house is located next to the nature reserve which offers great areas for cliff jumping and swimming. The house shares a dock/swimming area with two other homes. Accessing the home is convenient if you walk through the nature reserve during business hours or a 15 minute walk uphill to town. The house has some pots and pans in the kitchen but not fully stocked with oil, salt and pepper etc. Victor is on-site and was very helpful with answering our questions about the place. We visited in June and saw a couple of large spiders and bugs in the house, but they were mostly in the main room next to the door/windows.

My friend and I had a lovely few day stay in Becca's place. It was nice to have our own little part of Santiago - lovely views of the lake and nearby volcano, a great restaurant on the premises, and of course, the cabin itself was well appointed. There was lots of purified water, a great kitchen with fridge and comfortable bedding. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a special stay while visiting Santiago, and Lago Atitlan..
