“such a great get-away spot!! you’ll be tucked in between a few other tiny homes but it’s so easy to stay secluded while on the trails or the water! so much to explore in the surrounding area! plus cable tv, microwave, kettle, mini fridge, tea, coffee for the keurig to give a sense of civilization with views of the woods and lake from the bedside window ❤️ plus the food from the resort was delicious and brought right to the door with a no contact delivery! 10/10 would recommend”

“Wow. This rental exceeded my expectations. The communication from Dan prior to the trip was quick and easy. The check-in was easy and directions to the tiny house location from the reception was clear and precise. Our first impression of the house was incredibly positive. The house was clean and provided everything that we needed for our stay. The stove and oven are not for guest use which was very clearly communicated prior to the trip so we planned for that. We learned upon arrival that we could order food services from Canoe Bay and have it delivered to our Tiny House's front door - this made our stay that much more wonderful! We were fully aware that Canoe Bay resort is its own thing (as noted in the Tiny House's listing details) and that we'd have to pay to use their amenities. We chose not to use its facilities but we were happy to know that we had the option to pay to use them if we wanted to. This property sits the furthest away from the road that leads you there and the area was very quiet. Keep in mind that there is no wifi and the data reception in that area is poor which to us was just fine because we took this trip to disconnect and recharge. The only thing - if I had to add - would be that there were no instructions on how to check out or at least none that we could find in the envelope with information that was provided. Due to lack of wifi and data reception, we could not send a quick email to Dan. Our phone reception was also spotty so our phone calls were limited too. No worries there - we reached the Canoe Bay reception desk and they provided quick instructions on how to drop off the key and check out of our stay. Overall, our stay was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend this place and we are even considering making this an annual thing for when we need a quick get away from the cities for some quiet time.”
Family friendly cottage getaway on Pokegama Lake. This cozy cottage has a flat lot, no stairs to get to the water. Close to bar and grills on the lake. With access to 6 lakes (3800 acres) in the Chetek chain of lakes.
“The indoor space decorated so charming was the perfect ambiance for ‘Lake Life’; the size was perfect for 3 adults and a teenager; the boat house access to their kayaks, paddle boards etc. was more than generous in addition to the fire pit and grill. Neighbor was super generous with firewood while he was clearing trees; other neighbors were friendly while having my morning coffee on the dock; Gilligan’s provided some live music on Saturday night while outside and couldn’t hear a peep from inside. My family that stopped by for the day all enjoyed your cottage! I expect that some of us will be fighting over who gets to rent it next time! The smell of the well water was easy to get over with all the positives this cottage has to offer!”
