At this quiet accommodation you can enjoy views of the fjord from the living room, the terrace or from the outdoor wilderness bath. It's only 5 minutes down to the lake. Sauda is only 15 minutes away by car. Here you will find most things, including a swimming pool. Many opportunities for great mountain trips and other nature experiences throughout the year. Svandalen ski center is 15 minutes away by car. The cabin is rented to guests who have respect for the fact that they live in our private cabin and is NOT rented out for parties and private events.

THE AREA: Unique garden cottage with nice view. Perfect for two people, can also add an extra bed, possibly a travel bed for children. Many nice hiking opportunities nearby. The cabin is located right by RV13, easy to see from the road. We have a school, kindergarten, church, senior center and sports field around us, so it is very central. A lot of activity during the day, quiet in the evening and night. 1 km to grocery stores and charging station for electric car. Free parking at the cabin. Terrace with garden furniture at the cabin.

So if you like to fish, drive a motorcycle or a car. Take a stop at beautiful Sand, at the innermost part of Ryfylke. Approx. 2 hours drive from Stavanger. Suldal is a hub between two national roads: National Tourist Road Ryfylke and National Tourist Road Hardangerfjord. The place has beautiful nature between mountains and fjords.

Solar cells contribute to parts of the electricity consumption. Parking is just outside. A rare opportunity for peace and nature-oriented recreation!

Boathouse by the lake in Sokn, Stavanger

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.

Cozy apartment near Sand city center. Amazing views of fjords and mountains, great hiking area both winter and summer. Great location for day trips to Stavanger and Haugesund, among others. Suitable distance for a stop between Trolltunge and Prekestolen. The apartment is best suited for 2 or 3 people, but has enough space for four for a short stay.
