It is a suburb of Pingdong City. It is 15 minutes by car from the train station, and 5 minutes by car from the Pingdong-Shuangpu Interchange. Private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and a small living room with ample parking. 30 minutes drive to Sandi Glass Suspension Bridge/Liuzhu Cultural Park/Mino/Flag Mountain, 5 minutes to Bicycle National Road, (Most recommended: Misty Deck, 1 hour drive from the homestay) Coming... if you don't want to run around, just let go of the bullshit! Follow your feelings and the destination is not the only purpose of your trip!

We continue to collect books about the trees, and the space is in the painting area, and the accommodation fee will be used as a cost to purchase and renovate the treehouse, and you will also be welcome to change rooms with Tree Books. The courtyard has nearly a hundred kinds of trees and books, if you like nature, the cats (little ones), loves reading the paintings, I think you will love it here. The space is converted into a shipping container, about 20 meters from the bathroom and common space.

Orchard’s garden, a zen garden with bonsai trees, lotus pond, and a plethora of organic fruits, veggies and herbs. Situated next to Mt. Da Wu where the best organic chlorella in the world thrives off of its fresh spring water. Those who have visited say it’s heaven on earth. Due to the amount of work that goes into cleaning the house and maintaining the vast land, there is a minimum requirement of 4 nights stay. Takes days to prepare the house and extensive work to manicure the property.

This unique place has a style all its own.杉林枋寮這片土地，幾世代盤根錯結的關系，隨著人口的老化，老房子也逐漸年久失修，社區老理事長夫婦，至今保留了1970,80年代老家的樣子，ㄧ直沒什麼改變，住在德國的女兒覺得圍繞在小山中的“三合院”老家很美，捨不得上一輩凋零後，老房子將來就這樣荒廢，殘破，所以特地說服老公從德國回來，把老房子整修，打算退休時有ㄧ段時間回老家住。當我們人不在台灣時，把房子出租，提供美濃、甲仙、杉林地區住宿多些選擇，讓房子有人住，比較不會荒廢，同時也可以有些經費維護老房子。
