“This place is amazing! It is cute private little island, with fun rocks to jump off of, beautiful sloped swimming area next to a fire pit where we watched the stars every night. The cabin was very clean with fresh linens and towels. The amenities were well stocked, and Travis was very thoughtful in how he stocked the cabin. Luckily we didn’t have any rainy days, but if we did there was Netflix and prime on the tv. Travis was great to communicate with. Can’t wait to go back!”

“Our stay at Melanie and Dan’s island in Whitefish Bay was heaven on earth! We couldn’t have had a more relaxing getaway. Melanie and Dan were easy to reach, and very helpful. Our fishing excursion with our daughter and her partner ( and of course Melanie and Dan ) was a highlight of our two weeks! We loved the area, the scenery, the solitude, the swimming, fishing, and paddling. We could not recommend it more! Our plans are in the works already for next year.”

“Me and my spouse stayed at Shangrila-la camp for two weeks! Very clean comfortable rustic fishing cabins on a gorgeous property covered in beautiful oak trees, that looks out into a amazing bay of Lake Of the Woods! We brought our boat and got to experience a lot of fishing water during our stay but all the Big fish were caught within eye sight of camp! They had paddle boards and kayaks for times when we just went onto the water without the boat, weather fishing or just watching the sunset! There was so many wild life experiences we got to see during our stay including beavers, otters, loons , pelicans, and lots of bald eagles! Mike and crystal made our stay so welcoming and if you have any questions they get back to you right away and also gave us some great spots to check out around town for some great food and fishing ! :) I highly recommend checking in here we had the best time!”
