This is a lovely and welcoming apartment with a patio in the center of Florence, 2 + 2 beds, and is newly renovated. It is located on the ground floor (no stairs) of a characteristic building in the district of Santa Croce, in the heart of the historic center. It was renovated by the owner, an architect with twenty years of experience, who wanted to preserve and enhance the features and characteristics typical of an ancient Florentine house: wooden beams, antique portico with stone column and brick arches. It consists of an entrance hall, a living room with dining area and relaxation area, a sofa bed, a sleeping area with a French double bed and separated by curtains, a private courtyard with a fountain, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment gets great sunlight and is very quiet because it overlooks the private courtyard. It is warm in winter and cool in summer and equipped with every comfort: independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi internet access, books, magazines, tourist guides in Italian, English, French, German, and maps. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee, oil, salt, sugar, and a large selection of teas. Dishwasher and washing machine. Because the apartment is located in the heart of Florence where only Florentine residents are permitted to park, it is necessary to leave your car in one of the parking garages near the apartment (fee €. 20-25/day). You can easily walk to every place of artistic and cultural interest. If you arrive by train, you can walk or reach me directly by bus. If you arrive by plane you can take a taxi directly to my front door. This district is the most charming of the city and the street is quiet and peaceful. This is the third and last floor of a tower house from the XV century, completely renovated, in the very centre of Florence, at walking distance from all major attractions. Then, at no more than 10 minutes walk you can get to Piazza Santa Croce and Mercato dei Ciompi are just a couple of minutes walk, Duomo, Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria (together with Palazzo Vecchio), Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti... The area is full of good restaurants, pubs, wine bars, traditional ice cream laboratories, nearby grocery stores, shops in general. At nigh the apartment is quite and the very comfortable mattresses of the bed and the sofa bed, together with screens at the windows or dark thick curtains, will let you enjoy a pleasant sleep. From the windows you can see the typical road downstairs, Santa Croce in the background, and a wide and bright private court over the typical red Florentine roofs. The kitchen is fully equipped, modern and new. Air conditioning will refresh the whole Attic in a few minutes, in case of a warm day. And in case of a cold day, the heating is on to keep warm the area. The bathroom is equipped with a tub that can be used as a shower for pampered thanks to the double water jet: the standard shower and the large shower pan. Guests have access to the whole attic and all the equipment. Wifi internet is available and included in the offer. I will receive you on arrival and will provide information about the city. You can contact me anytime. Walk the beautiful narrow streets to Santa Croce square and tour the gorgeous Basilica di Santa Croce. Other notable landmarks are an easy walk away as well as Florence's exceptional cuisine, charming street cafes, and vibrant nightlife. You will be just great on foot staying at my place, but if you don't like to walk, there are some alternatives. Very nearby there is a bike rental, or you can download the app "Mobike" to use the bikesharing service in Florence. Also nearby Bohémienne Penthouse there are several public bus stops. Using public bus is easy checking the route planner on their site. Just on the other side of Piazza Santa Croce there is a taxi station, where you can get your cab to anywhere in Florence at honest rates. A car is not necessary to enjoy Florence city center, on the opposite it may also turn a small nuisance. We do not provide parking, you can arrange yourself asking to Garage Bargello Via Ghibellina, 170/172/r, 50122 Firenze Another option may be to find a free parking in Via dell'Erta Canina.. 20 minutes walk from my place.. Charming Apartment, Palazzo Valori

Affascinante bilocale in pieno centro a pochi passi dal Duomo, in una nobile strada, ricca di negozi e di vita, sia di giorno che di notte. L'appartamento, affittato in uso esclusivo, è composto da un accogliente ingresso con angolo studio, una camera da letto per due persone, una cucina affacciata su di un grande salone e sala da pranzo, e un bagno. Data la presenza di due divani letto in salotto, c'è la possibilità di ospitare fino a 4 persone con un sovrapprezzo. La particolarità dell'appartamento è costituita dalla presenza di un'antica cucina maiolicata con camino, risalente al XVIII, essendo lì locate le antiche cucine del palazzo. L'appartamento è estremamente tranquillo e luminoso; la camera da letto è affacciata su una ariosa corte interna, molto silenziosa.L'appartamento è dotato delle seguenti facilities: riscaldamento autonomo, impianto di condizionamento per il raffrescamento estivo, internet wifi, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, cucina a gas, frigorifero, forno a microonde, phon. Possibilità per chi lo desidera di parcheggio in garage privato nel palazzo, a 15€ per 24h. L'appartamento è per non fumatori, grazie. Sono a disposizione degli ospiti via mail, telefono, sms, whatsapp e ovviamente... di persona!!! L’appartamento è in pieno centro a Firenze, a un passo dal Duomo e da tutti i principali musei ed attrazioni della città. Siamo in piena zona pedonale. I taxi hanno comunque pieno accesso alla nostra strada. La stazione dista una decina di minuti a piedi. L’appartamento è per non fumatori e non sono ammessi animali domestici nel palazzo, grazie della comprensione.
