We felt very comfortable right after arriving at the house. A small water leak was immediately repaired. The location is great, the GR20 starts almost directly at the house. Parking is a bit difficult, but about 200m away free of charge on a large parking lot possible. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as bakeries and a butcher. We liked it so much that we would go on vacation there again.

This accommodation exceeded all our expectations! The cordiality of our hostess Josiane, the dreamlike tranquility, the beautiful property with the shady old olive trees, the possibility of being able to make wonderful hikes directly from the house.... All this makes this holiday unforgettable.

Beautiful little house clinging to the mountain. Incomparable view, calm day and night. Well-equipped for two people, no store nearby but there are first aid reserves.

Nicolas and Romana’s place is fantastic - we’d definitely recommend. Romana gave us a warm and friendly welcome and showed us around. The house was thoughtfully stocked with provisions including cooking basics and items for kids, and was spotlessly clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, a great ‘gateway’ to explore the north of Corsica. Thank you for hosting us, Nicolas and Romana.

Marc's warm welcome is a reflection of what has been built in this peaceful area. You have the real feeling of being in Balagne in the middle of this maquis. The flora and fauna thrive wonderfully... and so do we. Away from it all and for the respect of all, the swimming pool is a real success to enjoy this haven of peace. What a wonderful place! We live in the countryside, but here it's immersion, just like in Balagne!.. The setting is beautiful, bucolic, relaxing and warm just like the hosts. This old mill restores its old function in its soul while presenting the necessary comfort to a lover of this island. Needless to say, we will come back, the hardest part will be the wait! Very cozy stay in the alley of a historic Corsican village. Breakfast is amazing, Manuel and Nadia give great advice of local gems to go to and theres’s 3 cute cats walking around. Would definitely recommend!

if you are looking for peace and quiet, come to Sam's studio without hesitation. Spacious bathroom and very well-equipped kitchen. Brand new bedding, thick mattress, slept very well with my wife. The terrace for lunch and dinner in the shade. A great restaurant in the center of the village. Lots of mountain villages to visit, San Antonino and Algajola by the sea, among others. The 2-month stay was an absolute wonderful experience. The little town of Occiglioni is high-up in the mountains but not so far from L'Île-Rousse for the necessary shopping. The mountain roads are tricky by car and something to get use to. We discovered the free of charge bus that takes you down to town and back. Just send a message for a pickup. We made lots of new friends with the Occiglioni residents especially at the A Buttea restaurant, just outside Stella's apartment. The language barrier for the non-French is very real, but with Google Translate, communication was possible. The Apartment itself is fully-equipped down to the last detail. The romantic view of the church outside is something special. The spectacular views towards Palmento Santa Reparata di Balagna especially in the evenings is worth a memory. We hiked the various routes around the area and had beautiful views towards the ocean. It was a novel experience. Our sincere thanks to Stella, Mary and Philippe.

We had a very good stay, the accommodation is spacious and very well equipped. We particularly appreciated the brightness and the superb view between mountain and sea. Clean, tidy and bright apartment, complete with every comfort. The terrace overlooking the sea is a remarkable leap in quality. Private parking space. Beach and shops easily accessible on foot. Marie is a welcoming and kind host.
