This was the most magical Airbnb experience ever. Guiseppe and Giulia are the most hospitable Hosts I have ever come into contact with. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The villa is incredible with massive outdoor grounds to enjoy and a very beautiful large deep clean pool. Inside the villa is exactly as described but better! They were gracious and filled the fridges with many drinks to enjoy. They met us at the toll booth and escorted us to the villa and then drove us around town later to familiarize ourselves to the area and provided many dining recommendations. They were even so kind as to make reservations under their family name and deliver the most amazing desserts I have ever had! The location of the villa is perfect for day trips to Savoca and Taormina and surrounding areas. To have such a beautiful peaceful villa to return to made this our own slice of heaven! I would return in a heart beat. Thank you Giuseppe and Giulia for the most amazing stay.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Claudio is a great, attentive host. The accommodation is equipped with all the necessities, offers plenty of different seatings outside and the view is second to none. Claudio arranged a transfer from and to the harbor. We really had a wonderful stay

We had a beautiful time in the apartment - we loved the views and the kitchen was well equipped for homemade meals! It was a shame we had to take our rubbish so far, and some surfaces in the kitchen didn’t feel clean. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay!

Bebo is a super host and a lovely guy. Villa is in a super location, only a few mins from Santo Stefano which is a picturesque town. Stunning sunsets every night over the sea make the villa worth the stay. If anything, the description in the villa undersells it a bit. It's full of high end kitchen appliances and kit, great if you love cooking for family and watching those sunsets and sea views. In summary. Villa is great, location wonderful, Bebo is a super nice host.

The view, the space inside and out. Impeccable. Angelo was a great host and provided all the comforts our family needed for a relaxing holiday. Despite the rough road in, the destination is worth the adventure. We highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a more remote peaceful stay yet close enough to a beautiful beach town like Cefalu for day trips and date nights. But if you decide to stay in. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a fabulous week in this peaceful and beautiful location. The house was well equipped and the pool area was very relaxing with stunning views towards Pettineo village and the hills and valley. An ideal place to enjoy the outdoors, there is an outdoor sheltered dining area and BBQ. You can walk into the village from the house where we found a lovely cafe/bar. Visited Palermo, Cefalu and The Valley of the Temples at Agrigento (allow at least 2 and a half hours to get there). You need a car to get about. Be aware of some winding roads and the track to the house and village is rough, but fine once you get used to it. Thank you Francesco, you were the perfect host!

Great location if you are looking for a peaceful place immersed in the Etna woods. Easy walk to the trails and only 15 mins away from Piano Provenzana if you are looking to do an Etna excursion. The house is great and very comfortable. I’ll be back soon!

Fantastic family villa with stunning vistas. It was great for our large family and still giving us enough space for ourselves. Shops nearby and good access to Taormina.

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay at Lorenzo’s. The location is tucked out of the way, with amazing views and we had the pool to ourselves for the whole of our stay. The house itself is basic but had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed leisurely morning breakfasts on our patio and reading by the pool. We absolutely fell in love with Cefalù, although didn’t attempt walking in due to the heat, so we’d recommend having a car if you want to book here. If we’re being picky, it’s a shame that you can’t use the pool area during certain times of day, and we had to take our rubbish to the waste centre when we left which seemed a little strange to us. All in all, we would definitely come back - thank you Lorenzo.

I highly recommend this Villa - it surpassed our expectations. The best aspect is Maurizio’s services and excellent communication. He helped organise transfers (even at very short notice), arranged pizza chefs at the villa, and reliably responded to all our requests promptly. Hospitality and care like a 5* hotel. I planned a trip for 4 days for a group of 14 girls in mid-May. As soon as we landed in Catania, we felt we were being personally looked after. Maurizio helped me pre-arrange minibus transfers and kept in regular contact to ensure all was well. Exploring the grounds of the villa was a highlight. We enjoyed fresh oranges from the trees and squeezed large lemons into our drinks. There’s an excellent outdoor gazebo area with concrete ground and tent-like roof surrounded by beautiful trees. The terraces provide beautiful views of the sea, sunset and islands. The kitchen is small but was sufficient to cook for 14 people, with large pots/pans. Bedrooms huge and spacious

Excellent stay in this very stylish house. We loved the views and had an amazing time next to the swimminpool. We missed a couple of things in the house such as a smart tv with netflix, good wifi and space for groceries in the kitchen. But after our feedback I believe this will be solved immediately for the next guests. I would definitely recommend this place!

Very nice accommodation, faithful to reality. Idyllic location with sea view. The pool is well maintained (an employee visits every Saturday, it's quick). A secondary space is also rented above but the two are distinct. The interior that remains quite comfortable is starting to age a little. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Lella, the lady who helped us with check in and anything we needed during our stay was absolutely fantastic. She was so helpful throughout, gave us such a lovely welcome and loads of recommendations of places to see and eat. The Airbnb itself was amazing, it was really clean and much bigger than expected. It’s a little bit of a walk into the town but still very much doable. The whole place was fantastic and made our trip perfect!!

Mike, Cinzia and David were easy to communicate with and very helpful. The place was wonderful. There are a lot of stairs but we did fine. Location was fantastic for seeing Taormina and being close to everything but still quiet. Beach is an easy 25 min walk. We really enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful villa, spacious outdoor area, saltwater pool was fantastic. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area. Very clean and well presented throughout. Communication with host was faultless, all questions and calls were answered promptly. Villa was very private, we hired a car but Uber was very reliable and good value. Local restaurant Blue Ice was very good. Highlight was visiting nearby Taormina both on an evening and during the day. I would most certainly recommend Villa Flara and the beautiful island of Sicily. 🍋💕

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

We had a wonderful stay in Collesano, just a short drive from Cefalù. The outdoor space was absolutely stunning—surrounded by olive trees and beautiful flowers, it was the perfect place to relax. The pool and outdoor area were especially lovely and well-maintained. We were warmly welcomed by Nino, the gardener, who was incredibly kind and made us feel at home right away. All in all, a great stay—highly recommended!

The house is simply beautiful with great views of the sea and the coast to Taormina and the toe of the mainland. The sunrises are fabulous. The garden is beautifully landscaped and we were also very pleased with the hammock and table tennis table. The lava stone and wood are a great combination outside and inside. There are very comfortable seats and beds as well as insect screens on doors and windows. The Etna Park, Taormina and Catania are easily accessible. Andrea is a great, very attentive and friendly host who gave us a lot of good tips.

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A perfect holiday! 100% private, quiet, beautiful. We really enjoyed our girls' vacation! Stefano was very eager & everything was very clean, especially the pool. Small highlight: the neighbor's salon;) You definitely need a car as it is far up and the roads are very steep - but that's what makes it happen. We highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

Giovannino thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We feel very lucky to have stayed here - your garden is beautiful - the children loved picking oranges and lemons and making delicious juice. We enjoyed evenings on the terrance and taking in the spectacular view - we even saw etna erupting which was very special. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You have been a wonderful host, thank you for all the help, recommendations and reservations. We loved the take away pizza and restaurant you recommended. This was a very clean and comfortable rental. We decided to stay outside of Taormina so that we had better access for traveling to different towns and it was a great spot to stay. Parking is very hard to come by on the streets so it was nice having private gated parking and to be able to leave the car and walk to dinner if we chose to stay near by. The host was very attentive and available if needed, …we did not need anything since the house was well organized, equipped and had the basic necessities.
