This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

what an amazing find River House was for us, fantastic accommodation and views. Katarina was a brilliant host, always willing to communicate and sorted an issue we had very speedingly and going the extra mile. River House is very well equipped, clean and well maintained. If Katarina was not available her Mum would be there bringing us homemade cakes and preserves every morning, such a treat, we felt very spoilt. I would highly recommend, if you want a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings you could do no better

Le logement proposé par Ana est très bien décoré, le village dans lequel il est situé est très calme, il y a également une petite plage pas très loin. N'hésitez pas à réserver ce logement.

Dobili smo lijep apartman u malom ali mirnom i predivnom mjestu za jako povoljno cijenu. Apartman je prostran sa 2 spavace sobe i 3 balkona. Sa svakog balkona imate pogled na more. Večeri su veoma ugodne i svježe tako da nama nije bila potrebna niti klima (imate klimu u obje sobe ako nekome treba). Otok Mljet svakako zelim preporuciti. Jedno od najljepših mjesta koja sam posjetio. Pohvale i za domaćicu koja je na usluzi ako nešto trebate,a zadnju večer nam je pripremila i palačinke.

Lovely apartment right by the waterside. Comfortable apartment with all you need and with a lovely terrace with sea views. Standout feature is the private swimming jetty - wonderful for a swim after a day out but also a great place to just sit and watch the boats. We didn’t have a car, the Old Town and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk around the coast though with lovely views along the way. There is a small shop about 5 mins walk away but bigger stores near the Old Town. Kristina welcomed us with homemade cake and liqueur and also brought us homemade biscuits a few days later. Kristina is very friendly and lives upstairs with her mother so always on hand if you need anything. This is a great place to stay.

I cannot praise the host Tatjana and the Villa White Lady enough. Tatjana was very helpful and always responsive to our questions. The villa was stunning, set in a beautiful location. It is 15 mins from the old town, and close to some excellent restaurants and beautiful views. The villa was spotless, and exactly like the photos. The bedrooms are all a great size. Kitchen well equipped. The swimming pool was so welcome in the heat. We have had a great holiday and will certainly be back to beautiful Croatia.

Andrija is an amazing host. He helped us find his home and welcomed us with wine, recommended a great local restaurant - even calling them for us, and made sure to show us how various parts of the house worked. The home itself is situated on a beautiful cove. The weather did not cooperate to allow us to swim but our kids had fun playing around the yard and at the water's edge. This neighborhood is quiet and not much going on but an easy drive to towns with shops / restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Apartman je bio prekrasan – čist, uredan i opremljen do najsitnijeg detalja. Sve je bilo doslovno tip-top! Gospoda Jadranka je bila izuzetno ljubazna i gostoljubiva, a posebno nas je oduševila večera na terasi s predivnim pogledom na more – osjećali smo se dobrodošlo. Mjesto odiše mirom i toplinom, a atmosfera je toliko ugodna da smo jednostavno morali produžiti boravak. Sve u svemu, jedan od najboljih smještaja koje smo iskusili. Jedva čekamo ponovno doći u Sobru!

We had a fantastic stay at Marina’s place. We booked very last minute (24 hours’ notice) but Marina made it very easy for us. We loved the house - it was spacious, clean and tidy and the pool was great for the kids. Marina was very welcoming, very responsive and very helpful. Everything went very smoothly! The house is about a ten minute walk from the sea. It is a steep path which but worth it for the beautiful water on arrival. There isn’t a beach as such but there is a natural swimming pool and a designated swimming area which was great. One point to note is that parking is a few minutes walk from the house near the church. However you can pull up a short al walk from the house to load and unload cases so it was no problem for us. We had a great time and would happily stay at Marina’s place again.

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

If I could give six stars I would. We stayed at the villa for for nights in june, and it was exactly as in the pictures, maybe even better. The villa is clean and comfortable. Every room has airco, beds sleep well, the kitchen is well equiped and the basics like coffee, tea and such are there. Maro even provides a bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine, Maro (and his brother) was very responive, friendly and pro-active in his communication. The minute our plane landed, there already was a message og Maro's brother welcoming us and giving us clear directions to the villa. We also booked a boat trip via Maro, which was a fantastic experience. But actually the villa is not even that important, because the garden with all its teraces, the view, the pool, the sea is the most amazing part of it. It's even better than the pictures!

Wir waren 10 Erwachsene und hatten unheimlich Spaß und der perfekten Villa. Alles war wie beschrieben und noch besser. Die Küchen sind super ausgestattet, der Pool einfach klasse und das beste ist der direkte Meerzugang. Die Kommunikation war perfekt einfach nur zu empfehlen

Unsere Erwartungen wurden vollkommen erfüllt und wir haben uns als Gast sehr wohl gefühlt. Pool war genial und super sauber. Die Kinder haben ihn geliebt. Unser Außenbereich lag etwas abseits vom Pool, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden und genossen haben. Kommunikation auf Englisch war kein Problem. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft weiter.

Not even sure where to start. Jelena’s home is simply amazing. The setting, the location, the amenities, the proximity to Bol (walkable) were all top notch. We’ve stayed in countless vacation homes in many countries and this one is among the best!

Lage und Ausblick waren sehr schön. Etwas schade, das es nur mit Kunstrasen umgeben ist und der Zaun das Grundstück nicht vollständig umfasst! Das benachbarte Restaurant war sehr nett, gut fußgängig erreichbar und aber nicht zu hören. Was uns gefehlt hat waren eigene Poolhandtücher, aber das ist jammern auf hohen Niveau. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Erg mooie, goed geoutilleerde accomodatie op een werkelijk schitterende plek. Stukje paradijs op aarde. Luxe voorzieningen en toch midden in de prachtige natuur. 200 % aanbeveling!

Izrazito lijepo uređen i čist apartman. Nalazi se na predivnoj lokaciji! Apartman ima sve što je potrebno za ugodan boravak! Mogu samo preporučiti ovo izrazito lijepo i mirno mjesto kao i Goranin slatki apartman!

This secluded cabin is a true gem! We feel lucky to have been able to spend a week here and absolutely loved every minute. Kole helped us get situated and provided a box of fresh and tasty farm veggies. We like to cook and grilling in the well-stocked and beautifully made outdoor wood oven was a treat. Spending lazy days swimming off the dock and reading on the outdoor terraces was incredibly relaxing. The cove has a number of boats coming in during the day but is tranquil and quiet at night.

Wow, what can I say…giving 5 stars and saying Amanda & Chris are the best air BnB hosts I’ve ever had still doesn’t justify it! The location of the hidden house literally could not be better. You are within a 45 SECOND walk to some fantastic restaurants, the water and at the heart of this little town. If you want to make the most of your time - Amanda will hook you up with Niksa, who picked us up from Split airport, dropped us off by speedboat, and took us out for our final day where we explored deserted bays, beaches and other hidden gems around the Paklinski islands. We went to Hvar town for the day and although we liked it, it made us realise just how special SG is - I’m so glad we did it this way round! If you come to Stari Grad, you HAVE to stay here, thank you guys! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved sitting on the porch overlooking the sea. We drove to Pomena for our meals and picked up groceries at Tommy's market (very small). Pomena was a trek (35 minutes), but not many choices in the small villages. I would recommend bringing groceries from the mainland. We loved the peace and serenity at the house. Frana was awesome!

Okuklje est pour nous le plus joli village de l'île, la baie est magnifique et paisible, idéale pour la baignade, les promenades et les restaurants typiques au bord de l'eau. Le logement de Nikolina est parfait pour 4 personnes. Nikolina et sa famille sont bienvellants et très réactifs. Merci pour tout.

Wir waren insgesamt für 2 Wochen in Biankas Unterkunft und hatten einfach einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Zwar waren die Restaurants und der Markt im Ort noch nicht geöffnet, da wir scheinbar kurz vor Saisonstart dort waren, aber größere Supermärkte waren mit dem Mietwagen schnell erreicht und die Küche in der Unterkunft ist so gut ausgestattet, dass man auch einfach zuhause kochen kann. Eine super Kaffeemaschine gibt es ebenfalls - der Morgenkaffee auf der kleinen Terrasse mit Blick aufs mehr war unschlagbar. :) Zum Kieselstrand sind es 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß. Bergab geht’s fix, der Rückweg steil bergauf ist dann ein kleines Workout, aber sehr gut machbar. Wir haben über die Zeit mehrere Strandabschnitte genutzt und waren immer alleine. Bianka hat auf sämtliche Fragen blitzschnell und sehr lieb reagiert und zwischendurch auch proaktiv gefragt, ob alles okay ist oder etwas benötigt wird. Insgesamt also 10/10 empfehlenswert! :)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our host Daro and his beautiful villa. From the start, Daro made us feel right at home and even had a welcome lunch set up for us when we got there. The house was perfect for our group of 9 people; we spent most of our time at the water on the private dock that was equipped with a kayak, paddle boards and water gear to swim with. The villa is so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful trees; it’s the perfect place to relax. The town is no more than a 5 minute walk down the boardwalk and had a lovely restaurant and coffee/gelato shop that were very reasonably priced. We ended up driving to the nearby town to stock up on groceries but it was only an 18 minute drive from the house. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Croatian coast, I highly recommend this home. Thank you, Daro for being an exceptional host! We look forward to coming back again one day!
