“Sanjay took such excellent care of us w his amazing cooking and just checking in to see that we had everything we needed. He was kind and so sweet and helpful. The view from the balcony cannot be beat. Hiking to the next village is highly recommended, Sanjay can show you how to get there. Also, just hiking down around the home is so beautiful and refreshing. The room was very clean with extra blankets for the mountain cold air. I loved Kalpa and staying here so much.”

“It's a nice place to stay.. Though it's quite a challenge to reach their home from the road, host ensured our safety from the road to their premises. Food was tasty and they welcomed inside their warm house for dinner because of chilling weather. Very neat and scenic location. Enjoy the local apple wine and bonfire”

“The three of us (self , wife and 9yr old daughter) stayed with Ajay from 22 to 26 Jun. The idea was to spend quite and peaceful time amidst nature and Ajay's place turned out to be the perfect location for that. Ajay is a perfect host who made us felt extremely comfortable . His home is set around 4 km from Sangla main market overlooking the mountains with Baspa river flowing at 5 min walk inside beautiful forest (fir and pine trees). Apart from a day trip to chitkul we spent our entire time at Ajay's place by the river side and taking long walks in the woods. Ajay was generous enough to take out time from his busy schedule and took us on trek to nearby mountain and to Batseri village. We had a lovely and great time at Ajay's place. Excellent home grown food, scenic view , great hospitality and long conversations with Ajay and his family. What else one could have asked !! We will definitely return to his place in winters .”
