La Magara is an old house built at the end of the 18th century. It is located on the highest point of Civita, a small village of Arbëresh origins, at the entrance to the Pollino National Park. La Magara consists of 4 large rooms equipped with all comforts. Warm and welcoming lights, panoramic views, and simple, reused materials that reference the historical past of domestic environments. Each room has retained its characteristics and each has an outlet in a different street. La Magara offers an exclusive experience of history and customs: from food to colors, from silence to the magical atmospheres that the environments offer. Breakfasts are the ultimate expression of local culture. Homemade jams and desserts, local fruit freshly picked in the family garden give a good morning. The mini house is located on “Largo Rupe” one of the most beautiful terraces overlooking the sea in Fiumefreddo Bruzio. Here is "The Medallion of Fortune" by the great master Salvatore Fiume, which depicts the blindfolded goddess. That's why I decided to name the house “Il Nido della Fortuna” (The Nest of Fortune).
