Holiday rentals with a kayak in Saranac Lake

wonderful property and lots to do. even though we could not control the weather this property really has everything you need and the view of the lake was amazing. fishing on property was also great and was able to catch a few.

Lovely, clean place for a relaxing stay. Super comfy beds and plenty of amenities. We hope to stay there again some time!

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

I was very happy with the location and how easy it was for me to bring my kids on the lake and learn to fish. Beautiful views and a pleasant place to stay.

We enjoyed the backyard and kayaks immensely! Great yard for kids and pup to play in. Close to White Face, Lake Placid, and Ausable Chasm. Beds were very comfortable and so many thoughtful amenities. Jennifer was in contact with us to make the rental perfect! We hope to go back in the fall or winter in the future.

Great communication, flexibility, and responsiveness. Had a small plumbing issue and was resolved within an hour. The house was as described.

This cozy, warm, inviting cabin on Rainbow Lake was the perfect vacation place for us - the only sounds we heard all week were loon calls, bird songs, and the cool clean water lapping against the dock. The cabin is nestled in a quiet cove and has the most lovely screened in porch - perfect place to read and sip my morning tea. The dock has a safe kayak launch which was most helpful in keeping us dry at the start and end of each long daily paddle. Kayaks are provided, so no need to bring your own - a nice plus so we didn't have to lug our boats around for a change! Everything about the cabin and the property is exactly how it is shown and described on the page here. While it is tucked in and feels far away - Saranac Lake is 15 minutes away for all your needs. We are hoping to make it an annual vacation destination! And if we are really lucky, perhaps twice a year! Thanks guys, for The Most blissful vacation we've ever experienced. Your place is paradise!

Stop looking. You won't find a better place to stay in this part of the planet. Absolutely stunning views. comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. Very accommadating hosts. Loved staying here, and hope to return.

Our stay was amazing! We were moving our daughter into her dorm at UVM and were in Burlington for a week. We decided to stay here rather than a hotel near campus. It was the best decision ever. Jack and Robin’s cottage was the perfect place to prepare for dorm move-in. We were able to get out and explore the area. The sunrises over Lake Champlain were beautiful while we drank our morning coffee. Walks on the causeway were great for watching sunsets. 10/10 will stay here again when we visit our daughter at UVM. Go Catamounts!

Perfect home base for a peaceful ADK getaway. Lots to do in close proximity to cottage. The place was great. Very quiet. Coffee on the deck overlooking the river was a great was to start every day, and a cold one by the fire was a great way to end each day. Would definitely stay again.

This was our family’s 2nd stay here and it was just as amazing as the 1st. The cabin is super clean, the kitchen is packed with more than you’ll ever need to prepare meals, the back porch views are totally so worth the 10+ hour drive. We absolutely love this place. My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the Book House. It’s a funky, clean, quiet, and cozy (very!) little cottage. We loved having morning coffee on the porch with a gorgeous view of the lake, kayaking with Canadian geese, being surrounded by books and warming our feet by the gas stove, exploring the beautiful countryside, and hiking up Snake Mountain. And we really enjoyed our host, Laurel, who stays next door. She was super friendly, easy to communicate with, and was available if we needed her but also gave us plenty of privacy. The Book House is about a 15-20 mins drive to Middlebury (also great to explore), so you’ll want to stock up on provisions. However, nearby Pratt’s Country Store has all the basics you need and once you’re settled in you may not want to leave - we didn’t! Thanks again Laurel for sharing your special place.

This cabin was perfect. The charm of an old cabin in the woods with all the conveniences of a modern home. Everything was super clean. The location was awesome and included a boat we used for fishing and every water toy you can imagine. Our host was a wonderful person who went out of her way to assure our stay went off with any problems. We love you Ingrid.

The cottage at Wally’s Point was perfect for our long weekend in South Hero. The main cottage and guest cottage were clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We enjoyed using the kayaks, walking our dog along the private roads, and sipping coffee in the Adirondack chairs in the morning. The location is peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Robin’s cabin right on Auger Lake for my birthday. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great especially since we had unexpectedly cold weather for June. The area was very quiet and peaceful, but still close to a lot of cool places. Definitely will be coming back!

Amazing spot. Probably the coolest Airbnb i've ever stayed in. Really nice cozy cabin. Perfect spot very close to downtown, but far away enough to feel like you are in nature and not be bothered by anyone else. I'd highly recommend the spot to anyone.

We had a wonderful time at 3 Birches. I hope to return! We enjoyed so many local hikes, as well as walking on the nearby trail and kayaking. The house was so comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet except for the birds. Thanks!

Fabulous three night stay- kayaking, fishing, walking and enjoying camp life. Great location on a beautiful lake. Well equipped kitchen and we ate all our meals in house. Great boathouse.

We had the most amazing ADK week - the home is just idyllic- sound of the river, surrounded by nature, ideal for family time, with a sublime view and space, great history, and all sorts of activities nearby. We can’t wait to return!

Loved the lake acess and lake views from the couch and living room. The fire pit is nice to stargaze and keep the bugs away for a nice camping like experience. Was buggy due to rain so definitely bring off/bug spray or something for outside bugs. Lake was still cold but would love to come back and swim with the private water access from backyard

I had such a peaceful stay at this incredibly charming spot. I brought my dog, Clover, and we spent nearly every moment on the deck, soaking up the view of the lake and watching the birds. The setting was serene, quiet, and just what I needed to reset. The home itself was cozy and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. I’m so grateful for the care that went into this place, it truly felt like a little lakeside retreat. We can’t wait to come back!
