Located in the heart of the Domaine Sainte Octime wine estate, the accommodation offers you calm and serenity. The proximity of the vineyards, the garrigue and the river will allow you to stroll and escape. The village of Sardan is conveniently located between Alès, Nîmes and Montpellier and other places such as Avignon, the Mediterranean Sea or the Cévennes are accessible in about an hour by car (40 minutes for the beaches). The city of Sommières, 15 min. away, offers many activities.

Our house is located in a calm tree-lined area, between vineyards and hills, enjoying 300 days of sun per year. It is both close to the sea, the ''Camargue'' (a region of the Rhône delta in south-eastern France, characterized by numerous shallow salt lagoons, known for its white horses and as a nature reserve) and the Cevennes National park. The house is not overlooked, the garden is 3000 m2 and has many spaces to relax with a semi-underground wooden pool (6.37m x 4.12m, 1.33m).

Le gîte du Monastère a été restauré dans l'authenticité de la pierre. Les chambres climatisées et équipées de moustiquaires se trouvent à l'étage. Draps non fournis.. La cuisine donne sur le jardin où vous pourrez déjeuner à l'ombre du parasol. Les torchons et les produits d'entretiens sont fournis. De l’autre côté de la propriété, vous pourrez profiter de la piscine qui est partagée avec les hôtes du Figuier de 10h à 12h et de 15 h à 19h.

Our barn, an ideal hideaway between Cévennes and Camargue, awaits you for naps in the shade or in the sun, trips to Nîmes, Uzès, Anduze (there are antique things and stylish rivers) and walks in the garrigue. Come and enjoy the Gard with or without flip-flops socks!

The old house where the independent apartment of about 70 m2 is located is on the ground floor, in the center of the pretty town of Sauve, close to the main squares of the village, restaurants and shops. The streets are pedestrianized and also lead to nearby hiking trails.
