Rustic caravan peaceful place perfect to forget about the daily life in the middle of the mountains with several waterfalls (one of them next to the caravan) real wild and nature place Perfectly situated for those who want to climb Arboli´s village is just 2km walking The caravan accomodates 4 people and is fully equipped, toilet is outside (hot water) A forest road (half asphalted)will take you to the accomodation if you come by car pets are welcome.
“The accommodation is in a place away from everything, so to disconnect is perfect. We didn't have a car and they offered us the option of picking us up at a train station, which made things much easier for us. You can get there by your own car, although as they warn from the driveway to the house there is not all asphalt, but with care any car arrives without problems. We slept wonderfully, we were able to cook, sunbathe in some armchairs, we were also able to take advantage of the river that passes right by our house, with crystal clear water. It is perfect for star lovers, we went to see the Perseids. In the area you can go hiking in the mountains and Uri did not recommend going to an abandoned town called Gallicant, it was worth it because of the incredible view. It is worth going for several nights and disconnecting!”
“Loft very cozy and modern. We have been at home. It is perfect to disconnect a weekend and visit all the interesting sites in the area. Highly recommended the Canal d'Urgell for walks either by bicycle or on foot, with its waterfalls and wonderful trees. Many thanks to Anna for being a perfect hostess.”
La Perissada is a house located in La Vilella Baixa, a beautiful and small village from where you will be able to enjoy the Priorat: its famous vineyards, its magnificent landscapes, the Montsant and its climbing areas of Margalef and Siurana.
“This was a short and spontaneous trip. We came without really studying about the area and without expecting much (which you will since you are reading the reviews, but you won't be disappointed). Paul, Xavier's friend, greeted us most graciously. He told us about the history of La Vilella Baixa and basically planned the whole trip for us, giving us a list of the main attractions. Also (on top of everything) he gave us a tour of his vegetable garden, from where we left full handed with delicious veggies. La Vilella Baixa is surprising and uncanny for a village (thou specific for the area). The people living there are friendly, they welcome you with a whole heart. You Have to eat a pizza (at least) at La Caragolera. Staying at La Perissada helped us understand better what it means to live in this type of village. From the outside, the houses might appear small, crowded, arid. Well, actually, La Perissada is an old converted barn (so it's not the conventional village house per say). But it still makes you understand the (dare I say) luxury of space these houses allow. The garden is gorgeous and filled with a variety of plants (some local, collected from the surroundings). The house has many interesting details. In particular, I liked the metalwork from the stairs and from the living space console. The area has much to offer. Especially when it comes to olive oil and wine (delicious!) + natural landscapes and history. We will be back.”
