The house is located under 1 hour travel path to: Bø with its summer land and climbing park Kongsberg with the Silver Mines and the Alpinsenter/Ski Center Rjukan with world heritage, bathing land, climbing park and Gaustablikk with alpine and cross-country Gaustatoppen, Lifjell and Blefjell Tilodden with Blues festival, Stavkirka, Telemarksgallery and World Heritage is about 30 mins. drive. Just choose and evoke experiences and tours, or to enjoy quiet days and the good life of the countryside.

The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have a panoramic view of the water and the Gausta peak from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell winterland.Approximately 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country slopes. The location right between Bø and Notodden offers opportunities for shopping and restaurants. In the summer it is possible to rent the canoe ( in sharing with my other cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- per day.

Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

We live in one of the houses and also rent out a cabin and the upstairs apartment on AIRBNB. ("Rofshus2" and "Lita cabin in sunny farmhouse") Patio with table, chairs and barbecue. Great view of Totak and the mountains. 5 min to drive to the city centre with shops and driven cross country trails. 10 min to the ski centers. Great WIFI. Great summer hiking opportunities. Sleeps 2 adults, 1 child in travel cot. Convenient location by Totakvannet. Enjoy peace and quiet. High standard. Nature enters the living room. Deer, hares, foxes and deer often pass by. Yoursome life. The cranes have a landing here on their way into their nesting areas. Medieval "prestvegen" goes past the property and can be followed through the forest to Sandane which is the bathing beach with large B. Sun from midday.

Cabin in the middle of everything Telemark has to offer. The cabin is centrally located at Jønnbu (Lifjell), but at the same time it is secluded by a small lake. Great hiking areas with fishing waters, mountain tops and marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Lifjellstua (restaurant) is located 150 m from the cabin. Bø Sommarland and Høyt&Lavt 8-9 km away.
