Central location. Just along the waterfront. All downtown services within walking distance. A short walk to Olavinlinna Castle and the market. The apartment is clean and cozy. Parking spot was easy to find on the street. Small apartment building with the architecture of its time😍 The morning swim was successful on the shore of Lake Saimaa about 200m from the apartment. We'd love to come back.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the cute sauna house, which provided a perfect way to relax and unwind. The private entrance to the lake was another fantastic feature, offering serene and beautiful views right at our doorstep and a memorable experience of swimming in the lake after the Sauna. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive to all our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable.

The villa and the surroundings are very beautiful. We much enjoyed our stay in the villa and the peacefulness and beauty of the whole area. If you have a chance to stay in this place, don’t hesitate. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

The house is beautifully located in the forest by a lake, peaceful and completely private. It’s also modern, clean, and fully equipped. Erik met us by the main road and kindly showed us around. We enjoyed using the sauna and the grill – it was a truly memorable stay! I have used Airbnb in many countries on different continents, but this was one of the best Airbnb stays I have ever had.

Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.

We had a great time. My husband and I are traveling with our daughter (10 months old). We felt like at home from the beginning. It was nice to make a fire, grill, go to the sauna and swim in the lake. The house is very quiet and you have a great view from all rooms. The rooms upstairs weren't that big but there's an incredible amount of storage space. Communication with Katja was extremely good. We highly recommend this property.

Everything was great. The house is beautifully located in a perfect location. Well and tastefully furnished, right on the beautiful lake. Sauna,boat and billiards are also great. Large supermarket (S-market) is not far away. You have your peace and can also do a lot in the area. Matti is a great,likeable and helpful host!Everything was wonderful and we'd love to come back!

On the corner of the square, a historic functionalist building, the old Pielislinna hotel, which has been converted into offices and apartments. A special feature is the round elevator! The apartment is spacious and cozy. Thank you.

Very clean, clean and cozyly decorated apartment building with sauna. The yard of the house is large and good parking/ canopy near the front door. Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings, would it have been an old hospital area?The apartment is located on the second floor, but if there are a lot of carryings, the elevator on the adjacent staircase has access to the second floor and down the hallway directly into the apartment. As a commuter, I especially appreciate easy check-in, a good parking spot, and a peaceful environment, as well as a cozy apartment with a good sauna and rest after a day at work. The apartment was also very nicely decorated and the nice windows brought a nice vibe to the apartment. Definitely recommend this place, for commuters or leisure travelers:)
