Wilderness Village - unique accommodation in the forest

Vildmarksbyn is the place to stay if you want to live in nature. A place for silence, togetherness and recovery. Fall asleep to the sound of the fireplace in the miner's hut or the stove. Food is cooked over an open fire or bake pizza in a wood-fired oven. Everything is in the middle of the forest, with lake views and silence. In Vildmarksbyn next to Kyllesjön, you can jump in from the jetty or take a fishing trip by boat or canoe. Hike on our own paths over bogs and through forests, with silence as your companion. Big Cabin

Ortnevik is two and half hours north of Bergen, on the south side of the Sognefjord. It's a picturesque Norwegian village sitting by the fjord at the foot of the Stølsheimen National Park. The local ferry can take you to see a bit more of the surrounding area, such as Vik, Voss and Flåm. Along side the mountain and forest trails, fishing and rowing activities found here. We expect guests to clean the cabin to the same standard they found it in or there is the option of cleaning for 500 NOK.

A uniqe cottage at a small farm 200 m from Hjälmaren. We try to walk as light on earth as possible. The environment is perfect for relaxing nature experiences. Cozy wilderness log cabin with sauna

An authentic log home in the heart of Lapland. Wonderful nature, peaceful and private, ideally located. In the winter, it can be excellent Northern Lights viewing area. Conveniently located 2 km from Inari village. If you need fancy accommodation and if you do not enjoy the woods, do not stay here, but if you want to connect to the wildlife of Lapland and immerse yourself to the Lapland's quiet and peaceful pace of life, you will surely love it in our dry log cabin:)

Silma Retreat The Hobbit House

A luxury apartment built in to the woods. From the apartment it is often possible to observe wild animals. Jacuzzi is included. A la carte breakfast can be served for extra fee of 18€ per person. Private beaches to complete the luxury experience. Rowing boat rent on the lake is included. For additional service (250€ for a day) it is possible to enjoy traditional Estonian smoke sauna on the island. Preparing it takes approx. 8-9h, so 2 days notice would be required.

You will bathe in a huge shower, where you can easily fit two. The terrace has a sauna and an ice tub, the garden has lots of fruits and berries

This is the place for 2 people who want to relax, enjoy themselves and enjoy good food. Breakfast basket at the door is a must! View from the bed and short distance to toilet and shower. Our own Fjell Pub is also on site. Our SagaFjøl is very popular, a taste of the mountain consisting of cheese and sausage. No dogs are allowed in these cabins. Wifi available at service building and in Pub. Welcome to your adventure!

Modern turf house

Stay in a modern Sámi turf house – called a “gamme” in Norwegian and “goahti” in Sámi. Peaceful and unique, it has two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom, and a living room with kitchenette and sofa bed. Ideal for 4 adults + 1 child or 2 adults + 2–3 kids. Optional hot tub rental (must be booked in advance). Guests have access to a pizza oven, lean-to shelter, grill and fire pit areas.
