This was an absolutely an amazing place. The pictures give you a great sense of how beautiful this setting is. Per greeted us upon arrival, and said goodbye to us as well. He’s a very nice person with a great deal of information about the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful place!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Are Abraham’s home! The location was peaceful and beautiful. We were surrounded by lovely views of the misty mountains and fjord. The house had a lovely patio and yard. My daughters particularly enjoyed playing on the swing set. The space worked nicely for our group of six — me, my husband, our three daughters (ages 2, 4 and 6) and my sister. We found the house easily with Google Maps, and check-in was very simple. Everything in the house was easy to find and use. The oven and washer were in good condition. Before our arrival Are was responsive to all my questions. His recommendations for things to do were wonderful. My family really enjoyed the Loen Skylift (only 8 minutes away) and seeing Briksdalsbreen. Are was proactive in making up a cot for my two year old and letting us know his mother was available to help while he was out of town for work. (We didn’t have any issues.) I would highly recommend Are’s house and Loen!

We stayed in this tiny house for 3 nights and it was just great! Lotta is super nice and even provides food for breakfast. You can look out over the beautiful garden and it's not far from the subway, which will quickly take you into the city. Enskede is also a beautiful area! We can recommend a stay at Lotta's and would come back anytime.

Very nice hosts who always responded quickly and accurately. The cabin has a beautiful location overlooking the water and a cozy outdoor area. Compact, but with smart solutions and everything we needed. Good standard, very well equipped kitchen and clean and nice.

Amazing place! It’s a historic house on a farmstead next to the lake, unbeatable location with spectacular views on the doorstep. We used an amazing lakeside sauna twice, which you can book through Helene for a quite reasonable price per person. The cabin is small but the shower is well done and you can cook and sleep well. The hosts are very helpful, nice and genuine good people. We stayed 3 nights and took advantage of hiking and scenery around the area, and also enjoyed roaming the farmstead and meeting the animals. Recommend getting Helenes recommendations on places to see like Loen. I would go again given the opportunity.

This 1-bedroom flat is perfectly located in Forsand, right by the fjord, with on-site parking available. It’s about a 45–50 minute drive from Stavanger and offers easy access to both passenger and car ferries — ideal if you plan to explore other parts of Norway. The location is excellent for hiking enthusiasts: just a 20-minute drive to Preikestolen, with ferry options to Kjerag and many other scenic spots nearby. The highlight of the stay is the stunning view from the living area, which opens directly onto a front porch with outdoor seating — a fantastic bonus for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen has limited counter space, so meal prep can be a bit tight, but it’s equipped with an induction hob for quick cooking. There are also two local supermarkets nearby (just check their opening hours in advance). Overall, this place is a gem — peaceful, scenic, and a great base for hiking and discovering Norway’s natural beauty. Tor, thank you for sharing your space!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The accommodations were perfect, but what really made the trip special was the owner, Kajsa. Her kindness and attention to detail were truly heartwarming. It's rare to encounter someone so genuinely caring and hospitable. I wish more people were like Kajsa—she's truly one of a kind! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming experience! 😊

Britta was more than accommodating. Even after we took a wrong turn while site seeing while on the way to their home, and it became very late, she and her husband welcomed us warmly. We were met with beautiful and peaceful surroundings, much like the farm that my great-grandparents must have awoken to every morning. We could have watched the mama and baby sheep all day. We wish we could have stayed longer. It is a vacation just being there. Thank you! Thank you!

wow wow wow, what a place this is! completely magical place with fantastic hosts who fix incredible pizzas and a 5 star breakfast and who are helpful and extremely welcoming!! we are so immensely happy that we chose this place to go! Would have loved to go there again! Would highly recommend

We had a great stay at Martin‘s Cabin. It was located perfectly for me as a Fisherman, directly on the water. Unfortunately, Martin‘s boat was not usable due to a repair, but he managed to organise one instead right on the first day. Very nice! Nice Sauna with panoramic window onto the lake, very relaxing on a chilly night. 5/5!

If we could give this beautiful cabin 10 stars we would. It’s absolutely gorgeous & in an incredible location at the waters edge of a beautiful lake. Great views from the cabin & the sauna plus you have your very own private seating area and a bbq/fire seating area right by the lakeside. The hosts were brilliant and kindly showed us how things worked (sauna, aircon, hot tub etc). If you’re looking for a beautiful cabin and some private relaxation it doesn’t get better than this. With the added bonus of been only a few KMs from Rovaniemi and some great hikes

Beautiful place with stunning scenery. It was wonderful to enjoy the summer evening in the hot tub and then move on to the warmth of the sauna. Communication was excellent and Tuukka also arranged a hot plate for us on request!

We had a great stay at David’s cabin, such a welcoming host and a beautiful and peaceful spot.

We felt completely at home with Peter – his place is a true oasis to unwind and relax. The cabin radiates pure Swedish lifestyle: authentic, beautifully designed, and furnished with incredible love and attention to detail. The gorgeous lake right in front of the house amazed us every single day – morning swims, and a Jacuzzi with a stunning view of the water in the evening… it honestly doesn’t get any better. Peter also gave us fantastic recommendations – from small excursions to insider tips for restaurants. Our absolute highlight was visiting the island of “Sandhamn” – an unforgettable experience! 🇸🇪 This place is a true haven. 🫶🏼❤️ If you’re looking to disconnect and experience the real Sweden, this is it. Can’t recommend it highly enough! 🙏🏻

Beautiful accomodation with amazing view, very calm and nice with the sheeps around the house. The hosts are very lovely and gave good tips for walking in the area.

Choose this place if you want to get away from the city but still stay close. You have to take the boat for grocery shopping - how cool is that! Nice place out in nature. Recommended!

We had a geat time in the cozy flat.

Cozy little apartment in the backyard of the farmhouse. Very quiet, very cozy, comfortable beds, everything you need in the kitchen. Parking in front of the door. The village is very quiet, only a small supermarket (closes at 7:00 pm. No veg. offer - too bad!) Only had written contact with the landlords, but everything worked out great. Good recommendation and happy to come back!

This host and the accommodation deserves a 10/10. Mette is super friendly and correct. She is there when you need her but she respects your privacy. She helped a lot with interesting tips on the environment. The little house where we stayed was very clean, and above all very cosy. It is also well organised with a nice bathroom with good shower. The living room with kitchen has all you need. The lightning in the house makes it also very cosy. The bedroom has a really very comfortable double bed . And then the location and view…! It’s located in the middle of nature, at the edge of a little forest. From our window we could see deers running.. during an evening stroll we saw an owl flying through the sky. It is a very very nice place to stay if you are looking for some quiet time.. we definitely enjoyed our stay a lot . Thank you Mette for your extreme hospitality, Kurt and Silvia.

The stay with Margareta and Thomas was very relaxing. The location is great, the surroundings beautiful. Directly from the house you can walk/hike/cycle for miles (13 km in one, 27 km in the other). The sunsets invite you to birdwatching. The guesthouse is well equipped; the kitchen offers (except for an oven) everything your heart desires. Thanks for a nice time at your place!

Cozy little house, in the valley. Direct access to trails around the valley. Clean and nice. Really nice view on 1 floor out of large window from where you can look out over the valley. We spotted many birds and deer as we sat in front of the panorama window reading. The house is located next to the host family house. We cycled there from tomelilla train station and it was easy to find. Good and quick communication with the hosts. Very good and helpful hosts.

We stayed two nights. Me, my pregnant partner and our 2 dogs. Beautiful farm, cozy location. Good parking. Great to be offered breakfast, First time I got it on airbnb. The cottage is cozy, with everything you need for two people. I wish I could stay longer.

We were on site for a week and felt very comfortable right from the beginning. The place is small but nice! The sauna is great if you come out of the cold. Janne gave us good tips for our hikes and even showed us reindeer. It's all within walking distance. You are very central, but still have the feeling of being in the forest. The small kitchen was completely sufficient for us to prepare our breakfast or heat something with you. Tour providers (e.g. for snowmobiling) right around the corner.
