Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Schaffhausen District

Matthias' house is spacious, nicely decorated, and looks even better in real life than on the photos. It's situated a few mins walk from the forest, and many hiking trails which is a bonus for nature lovers like me. The Rhine Falls is also about 10 mins walk on foot from Neuhausen city center. Matthias is super friendly and easygoing, gives great advice and tips on the Schaffhausen area, hiking trails, things to do around. The kitchen, bathroom, washroom are very well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room has a thermostat and you can control the temperature which was much appreciated, especially during the winter months. The nearest bus stop is 5 mins walk from the house which is convenient when getting to work or to the nearby shops. I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed my time at Matthias' house and I would definitely book again with him. You can't find a better spot in the Neuhausen, Schaffhausen, Rhein Falls area. I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Gerlodswil, Switzerland, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The villa's location was fantastic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, yet conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The accommodations provided the perfect balance of comfort and luxury, with a private swimming pool and a balcony offering stunning views, which became our favorite spots during the stay. What stood out the most was how everything was exactly as advertised, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the area and the local amenities. Nadja, the host, was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available to ensure that our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Switzerland. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We were looking for a place to stay to host our guests privately. The apartment was perfect in this regard. Parking in front of the door. Restaurants within walking distance.

This is Nicole's home, and it is a very warm and welcoming place. She made room for us to put our belongings. We hope it will be available the next time we need to go to Uster.

Only stayed for a night, but it was a nice place with comfortable beds & plenty of bathrooms.

We liked the house so much that we came back for a second stay. Perfect house and location for a family vacation. The house is clean, has lots of toys for the kids, is next to farms and close to the river for swimming. The owners are very kind and accommodating.

We came to Zürich to see Taylor Swift concert, and because of that, finding a place to stay was difficult. We lucked out with this beautiful apartment. The town is so cute and charming; a relaxing break from the concert and city madness. The view was perfect, the beds were comfortable, parking was easy, the grocery store was nearby, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Even the drive to and from Zurich was pretty and relatively easy! We loved visiting the nearby castle and a local restaurant (Althaud). Definitely would recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Alex’s place! Alex was extremely responsive whenever we reached out with a question or anything we needed. The apartment was very quiet and just a few minute walk to the end of a public transit line, which was very convenient for getting around Zurich. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Alex’s place again!

I was delighted to return again. Christoph was super welcoming and helpful. As with last time, it was super clean. Several charming restaurants are nearby, but I also used the new kitchen to make a simple pasta one evening. With a pharmacy, Coop and Manor just 2 minutes walk (and the main station within 5 minutes) there many convenient amenities. This home is a perfect pied-à-terre while exploring Schaffhausen (and Neuhausen's Rhinefall is only a few stops away by bus or train)

We were unable to go due to an unforeseen event, but despite this, I am very grateful to Moni because she remained very professional and very responsive from the beginning of our exchanges. Indeed, we were unable to stay at the Airbnb due to an accident. But I reward the host because she was very understanding and communicative.

Excelente lugar

Thank you very much to Friedrich for hosting us, we are a super big family of 14 members. A very nice property with different theme across 5 floors. Friedrich was proactive in answering our enquiries, check in was seamless, the rooms are cute, clean and all useful amenities are ready to use, including the super important washing machine and dryer! The location is superb, near to Zurich HB, easily accessible with lots of trams. Only one shortfall is the absence of lift which is understandable as the property is situated in the old town area where all properties are probably at least 100 year old. Overall a very pleasant stay, I definitely will come back next time whenever I visit Zurich in the future. I recommend to pack lightly so that you do not need to carry a heavy luggage.

I cannot say enough good things about Ramon, Doreen, Thilo and their two k cats Yumi and Orion. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We felt right at home. The house and the views are absolutely beautiful. The cats were super fun and cute. They live near a train station, getting around was super easy. We would definitely come back to stay with them. Thank you again!!
