Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Schwyz

Our family needed some rest and relaxation in nature with hiking trails right outside our door step. We got exactly that! What a beautiful cabin situated in the middle of the mountains at 1000m. The village of Isenthal was so picturesque. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family!

저희가 원래 정해진 체크인 시간보다 늦게 도착했음에도, 호스트분이 저희가 집을 찾지 못할까봐 매우 걱정하며 체크인까지 기다려주었습니다. 호스트는 아주 친절하며 사려깊습니다. 숙소 컨디션은 흠 잡을 곳 없이 최상이고, 풍경은 그보다 더 멋집니다.. (사실 풍경 하나만으로 얘기 다 했죠. 눈으로 보고 있는데도 합성같아요.) 사우나 시설은 정말 만족스러웠습니다. 주변이 너무 어두워지면 찾아가기가 어려울 수 있으므로, 체크인 시간에 유의하세요! 저희같이 지각한다면 매우 고생합니다. ㅎㅎ Even though we arrived later than the original check-in time, the host was very worried that we would not be able to find house and waited for us to check-in. The host was very kind and thoughtful. The conditions at the house were impeccable and the scenery was even better. I was very satisfied with the sauna. It can be difficult to visit when the surroundings get too dark, so pay attention to the check-in time! If you're late with us, you'll suffer a lot.

We absolutely loved staying at Jacqueline's ! The property was beautiful with breathtaking surroundings.The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and much more . Kitchen and bathroom were very clean . Felt right at home . In addition ,Jacqueline was incredibly responsive and accomodating.Definitely be back to this place on our next trip to switzerland. We had a perfect stay there .Many thanks !!

Wir haben sehr von Rolf und Norma’s Gastfreiheit und Freundlichkeit genossen. Wir sind sehr warm und herzlich empfangen, es wurde auch sofort ein Feuer angemacht um die Wohnung zu erwärmen. Unsere Tochter durfte uns auch besuchen und dort übernachten, das war ganz selbstverständlich. Kurz gesagt, wir können es 100% empfehlen und wenn wir wieder in Zürich sind kommen wir gerne wieder zurück. Die Wohnung war genau wie versprochen und wie auf den Fotos, einfach super! 6 out of 5! The three of us originally just wanted to book a stay near Schwyz with a few separate bedrooms for hiking around Stoos and Rigi. We casually chose this place, but it far exceeded our expectations! Just as my companions were complaining about feeling a bit jaded after three days of sightseeing around Interlaken and Grindelwald, the stunning scenery along the winding mountain road to the village of Sattel still took our breath away. Upon arrival, Sonja and Marcel warmly welcomed us with a detailed room tour, carefully explaining how to use each facility. The entire house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful little touches both inside and out, reflecting the hosts’ great taste :). If our travel plans weren’t already set, we would have loved to stay for a couple more days! If I ever visit the area again, this would definitely be my top choice. Our two days in Sattel were truly unforgettable. Thanks Sonja and Marcel for making our trips better!

we loved our stay at Martin's house! the views are beautiful, it's very peaceful, and the house was as described and comfortable for us and our 1 year old. Martin provided very clear instructions and was very thoughtful - we would happily recommend this Airbnb to anyone and hope to return one day!

Fijn appartement op een nog fijnere plek. Andreas was erg flexibel en behulpzaam. Een top host! Omgeving is adembenemend en dit appartement is voor deze prijs een ideale uitvalsbasis. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden!

It is a mountain apartment so don't expect luxury, but it has everything you need for a group of friends to stay overnight.

I had the best stay in years. Beautiful ´house´ on a beautiful place. Martin and Heike immediately made me feel welcome. Everything you wish for was present , I lacked nothing. There was more than enough room for me and my dog. I definitely will come back to explore more!

Anfitriã gentil e prestativa. Chalé suiço localizado em um sítio, lugar bucólico e lindo. Da sacada pode-se avistar picos nevados contornando um belo lago. É preciso estar de carro. Há muitos animais na propriedade. Tìpica paisagem alpina. Sentirei saudades do lugar.

Heidi is met recht een SUPER HOST! Ons verblijf in haar accommodatie was geweldig. Ze is warm, vriendelijk en oprecht geïnteresseerd in haar gasten. Heidi gaf ons waardevolle tips over de omgeving, zelfs al kende ik het gebied al goed. We hadden leuke gesprekken als we elkaar rond het huis tegenkwamen, maar ze respecteerde ook volledig onze privacy. Het onderhuis was uitzonderlijk schoon, de keuken was prima uitgerust om eenvoudige maar goede maaltijden te bereiden. De tuin bood meerdere zitplekken, maar wij kozen steeds voor het prachtige uitzicht op de bergen. Heidi was erg attent, zoals toen ze op een hete dag een extra parasol op het terras plaatste om het comfortabel te houden. Ook verraste ze ons soms met verse vijgen en we mochten kruiden uit haar tuin gebruiken. De locatie is perfect: rustig, maar toch centraal gelegen. Direct achter het huis beginnen mooie wandelroutes door de bergweiden. We hebben een onvergetelijke tijd gehad en komen zeker terug. Absolute aanrader!!

This was my second stay—and for good reason! I loved it the first time and couldn’t wait to come back. The check-in was super easy, and the apartment has everything you need to feel at home, even for a longer stay. A fully equipped kitchen (with all utensils, a coffee machine, and even a barbecue), cozy beds, a spacious living room, and the most breathtaking views from every room. It’s also very accessible—there are no thresholds in the rooms, and you can easily get from the street to the apartment without any steps, which is great for families with kids or anyone with mobility concerns. Highly recommended and definitely a place I’ll return to again!

Wir haben uns in der Villa, nach dem Wow-Effekt beim eintreten, sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Trotz schlechtem Wetter konnte man in den Pool und Whirlpool. Der Fitnessraum ist super ausgestattet - wir waren beschäftigt ^^ außerdem ein großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte, es war alles blitzblank und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön hergerichtet.

Het huisje was prachtig! Ideaal voor de skiërs die direct vanuit huis willen skiën. Huis was heel proper! Esther was heel behulpzaam en je kan op haar zeker rekenen!

Our stay was truly beyond our expectations. We enjoyed our host and family and had all of the things we wanted and needed. We were able to get to local places easily, had a comfortable bed and room, and were able to use the kitchen to make a few of our meals. We felt right at home. The beautiful surroundings were so peaceful we enjoyed a rainy afternoon in the sunroom.

We loved our stay here. The house was incredible, as pictured with enough room for our party of 8 including 5 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. The ability to request a pack and play for infant and toys for my toddler was a game changer. The space was thoughtful and enough room for everyone to relax. The town is very quiet and sweet. You can easily walk to Migros and local restaurants. It was perfect for day trips to Thun, Lucerne, Bern, Zurich. It was the perfect landing spot for our group. Laundry is always a plus! Just a couple notes if you have kiddos and plan to do all public transportation, (not a big deal if you have a car but we didn't want to travel with car seats): the home is all tile throughout, not a lot of space to roll around if you have crawling babe etc. The house was absolutely walkable with a stroller from bus stations but don't follow google maps on the 345 bus stop, it'll take a shortcut up to the house that is all stairs. Take the 346 bus instead.

Christina was a wonderful host! 10/10 recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Hosts are very helpful understanding and kind. You can ask anything with them. Maggie showed me the house and she is warm-hearted. Rainer is interesting and responsible. And the guests was all Americans, they invited me to play games, which is very fun and they were very nice and friendly. I recommend those want to make friends or travel pals to try this. And it is so worth it. Love you guys!

Priskus and Silvia were wonderful hosts - they were very friendly and welcoming to us. We availed of their Swiss breakfast and it was one of the best meals we had in Switzerland! The location was around an hour drive from larger cities like Lucerne, Zurich and St Gallen and we found the location to be convenient, but also quiet enough (away from the bustle of busier areas). It had a great mountain view and several good restaurants and bakeries nearby. A lovely place to stay at!

We had a short but wonderful stay at Rainier’s place!! Super clean and the bed was SO comfy! They even kindly upgraded us to a private room free of charge! Would highly recommend for a friendly place to stay, especially as a solo traveler looking to meet new people.
