Our house is located in the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park at an altitude of 1000 m. Former 19th century farmhouse, it was successively a summer camp, a gîte and then a family home. We renovated it with quality natural materials. The 230 m2 house is intended for lovers of old stones but also Art and Design in search of a comfortable haven of peace to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature, 1 hour from Geneva and 1 hour 45 minutes from Lyon.

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. Spacious, warm, it is located in the Haut-Jura Nature Park. Hiking possible from the accommodation, ski slopes (cross-country and alpine) a few km away (Les Rousses, Mijoux), lakes and waterfalls... Many fruit farms for foodies! The chalet is equipped with everything you need to share good times with friends or family (raclette, fondue, etc.). Sleds, snowshoes available.

"La Varine" Cottage

Your accommodation is located on the ground floor of the house where we live. Your room is the old cellar of our house, so your sleep is guaranteed without outside noise! Nana opened her restaurant this summer 2021, it is located next to the cottage. Upon reservation, she offers take-out pizzas on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, and on other days traditional French cuisine, on Saturday an African dish, the menus change every week.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions. A stay in an atypical setting, with private bathroom and toilet in each bedroom. On-site bakery. Departure from cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails (on-site rental), mountain biking, hiking trails... Véronique and Fabien MOREL provide you with a crib, high chair, stroller, pram... for your child as well as snowshoes, sleds, free of charge.

Looking for a quiet break in the mountains? Enjoy this cosy little nest for 2 people, at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level on the Haut Jura mountain range, in the heart of the "Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Jura". Take a moment of relaxation all year round in the Nordic bath/jaccuzzi (€20 supplement). Breakfast basket in front of your door (supplement 9€/pers.). We look forward to welcoming you!
