Family-friendly holiday rentals in Serene Lakes

This cabin was very cozy and just what we were looking for. Great place for a couple. Enjoying the hot tub while snow fell around us was a memorable experience and one of my favorite parts of the whole trip! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there were several great restaurants within walking distance that we checked out. I loved our stay there!

Janet was a wonderful host. She was incredibly responsive and made the weekend so easy. We loved her place, too!

We just returned from an amazing stay at Drew’s beautiful home in Tahoe! The house was absolutely perfect for our family — spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The location was fantastic, close to everything, but still peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was a huge hit, and all the little amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. Drew was a wonderful host — responsive, helpful, and made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. Truly our best Airbnb experience ever — we can’t wait to come back!

The house is extremely cosy, we felt right at home. The fireplace was ready to start when we arrived and we enjoyed a night of game board (which are numerous and of quality) in front of the warming fire. The decoration was very well done and the kitchen very well equipped. The bathrooms although on the smaller side were well furnished and the quality of the body wash products excellent. Roxie and Greg were very communicative and helped resolving an issue before we arrived. We would definitely come back, it's a perfect location for spending Christmas.

Doug and Marlene’s place is everything you could want for a Tahoe getaway. After staying in 10+ places in Truckee, this is by far our favorite. It’s spacious, cozy, and fully stocked, with plenty of room for gear. The abundance of towels (a rare find!), a huge kitchen, and an oversized garage - big enough for two SUVs with room to spare - made our stay even better. The hot tub is perfectly placed right off the back door, super private, and no snow trekking required. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked our next stay!

Peggy is an amazing host! She was helpful, responsive and joy to interact with. She was very welcoming to me and my dog Cuban. Very dog friendly place which was nice to have. The place is peaceful and tons of room to room around with your pet and different spaces to relax in. We will definitly come back!

Evo’s home was really beautiful and peaceful. It was very close to some restaurants and the lake. There was lots to do that was close by. I would definitely come again.

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

We had a very nice stay. You could tell there was a lot of thought put in to making guests feel comfortable, accommodated and informed. The location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beautiful lake.

We really liked this place. Rural, very scenic. The cabin is very well constructed and well maintained. Nice step-in shower. Good kitchen. Bring food. There aren’t many dining choices nearby. The trading post at Dutch Flat is surprisingly well stocked, which is a good thing because the mini-mart/gas station at the Dutch Flat off ramp is the only other place around to get provisions.

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little spot of paradise with us!

We have stayed here before and love this place and the host! Love being able to walk everywhere and super close to the beach. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Heather's home was fantastic. It was clean & comfortable and in a great location. Of all the vacation homes we've stayed in, this one was my favorite. The kitchen had all the tools needed to cook. It was very quiet & near a hiking trail & afew minutes to the lake. It was a great place to stay. Thank you, Heather

Our family stayed at Casi’s home for a wedding weekend and was GREAT! Highly recommended to all! House was Comfortable, had all necessary essentials to make family meals, was roomy, clean, private and enjoyable. Will definitely stay again when in area again! We loved this condo! It’s the perfect location for a ski vacation at Tahoe Donner (ski in, ski out!), it was quiet, it had gorgeous views of the snow, it was large and clean and well stocked. Thank you for a great stay!!

Clean, organized, and full of everything you'd need. The owner clearly put a lot of work into the space and it shows. Many Airbnbs are bare-bones but this one is not. So many labels and instructions!

We had a great stay at Tina's house. Very easy checkin , house was well equipped with everything we needed. It got a bit chilly at night and the house heating worked perfectly well. The beds were comfortable to sleep on.
