Our home is a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath, four season lake home with absolutely amazing lake views! This is a 2500 sq ft year-round home with open floor living area and lake views that will take your breath away! There is an electric sauna, an outdoor fire pit & a 3 season porch. Our dog friendly home sits on 12 acres of wooded land and we have 150 feet of rocky shoreline across the road. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown Ely on Shagawa lake.

Perfect Downtown Ely House. New!

stunning place! well-stocked, uncluttered, fresh and modern. Lots of room for our group (2 couples) and we could have brought a few more as far as beds and open space. Kitchen table is huge! we loved that. 1.5 bathrooms was a tad challenging at times with the lone shower between 4 adults. The half bath (toilet and sink downstairs) was handy. Currently the road construction (June 2025) closing the residential street was a little crazy the first day but Anne told us exactly where to access parking through alley behind the house. The gas BBQ grill was useful too!

First, Neil is an incredible communicator! Second, I was looking for a place of solitude in an ever-crazy world. Loon Island is EXACTLY that. It's a place that can be whichever you prefer, a wonderful place to stay all week without outside influences, or a basecamp for excursions to explore the Northwoods and towns. Amazing sunrises AND sunsets! Only significant sounds are waves hitting the island shore and nature. And, because it's all contained on an island, there is less chance for undesirable wildlife interactions. Caught walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie and rusty crayfish! Ate fish and crayfish! I love this place! Only critical comment is, Neil provides a 14ft boat and 4hp motor (both worked well), but there is not a good place at the island to manage a larger private boat. I wish there were. However, the arrangement with the nearby resort worked fine. Slight inconvenience, but was glad there was a solution/work-around. Definitely would stay again!

LOVED LOVED LOVED starting at Marcus & Amy's cabin. Everything described is exactly what we had. It was our first anniversary and we were greated with a card and a bottle of champagne in the fridge. Super responsive and helpful. Absolutely looking forward to coming back

The apt was VERY clean and nice. It is decorated perfectly. We were really impressed with how nice and spotless it is. I never walk around without shoes on and I did here. It's in a great location, close to everything in town. The theater downstairs is very nice also. Enjoyed watching Deadpool vs Wolverine. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay! Sitting by the lake was the perfect way to unwind. One night I’m pretty sure we heard wolves, and maybe even a moose Meeting the dogs was such a sweet bonus, they were so friendly and gave us something to laugh about for years to come!! Thank you for creating such a cozy and welcoming space. We will definitely be thinking about that lake view for a long time!
