Melissa was the BEST. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had! The place is absolutely beautiful and truly became the highlight of our vacation. The check-in process was smooth. It was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend this place and I am definitely going back.

Our stay (Family of 5 adults) was everything we hoped it would be. The place is gorgeous, kitted out with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including some extra goodies on arrival. The home itself is stunning, we now are saving to redo our bathroom inspired bu the bathrooms here! This is an airbnb that we will definitely be returning to! the location is quiet and peaceful, with lots of Monkeys nearby but not close enough to bother us! They nearby beaches were private and quiet, they felt like they were our own! We have nothing but appreciation and gratitude for the host for allowing us to really have a home away from home experience, and can't wait to come back again!

Home is lovely and beautiful. The estate has many pools and restaurants and lots of areas for children to play and swim. Grant was a great host and would highly recommend Grant and this property! We can’t wait to come again .

I have been in the event planning industry in the USA for over thirty years. I honestly could not think of a single negative to say about Jean and Brett’s rental home. Location, value for money, ocean views, amenities and location were perfect. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. I would be back in a heartbeat! We just live a tad far away! Spectacular views and very secure estate . Apartment itself is very well equipped and really is a therapeutic getaway would definitely recommend this place if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Host are very responsive and accommodate most requests . The welcome board is a good touch good gesture.

The views and sounds of the Indian Ocean were spectacular. The master bedroom and a secondary bedroom both had sliding door access to the large balcony. We were close to shopping and restaurants on Ballito. We went on a couple of excursions but the meeting point was about 45 min to an hour away, depending on time and traffic. The meeting point was down at south beach, close to the magnificent soccer stadium. This unit is on the third floor; there is no elevator, just in case you have problem with stairs. The property attendants were helpful and friendly as they assisted me with getting my luggage up to the third floor. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay at Melanie’s place again.

What a clean and comfortable stay I had in this very special Cottage! It was immaculate, and was equipped with everything I would need for a comfortable stay. The decor was charming, and the ambiance…so very ‘good for the soul’. Marné was a perfect host with a real gift of conveying info in a timely, clear, and creative way. We had an incredible stay at Ocean Dune in Umhlanga. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a thoughtful snack pack, which was such a nice touch after a long trip. The apartment was spotless, beautifully kept, and very well equipped. The highlight was definitely the view – right next to the ocean with a constant fresh breeze, it created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the sound and sight of the waves was pure bliss. The space was modern, super neat, and felt like a true getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a touch of luxury in Umhlanga!

We had an amazing stay at this gem on the Dolphin Coast! The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and tidal pool. The sea views are breathtaking, and we loved spending time on the verandah overlooking Chakas Rock. It’s ideal for a couple or small family, with everything you need for a relaxing, self-catering holiday. The complex is safe and quiet, with restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended for a coastal getaway!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Mer No4. The unit is clean,spacious and so stunning with all the modern finishes and homely touches. Thandi was so warm and welcoming and kept the place so neat and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very nice, looks exactly like the pictures, and had all the amenities we needed. Olivia is a great host. When we arrived, getting inside was easy. My cell number had been registered at the gate, so to enter, we simply called the gate number from the registered phone, and the gate opened automatically — a new and interesting experience! Once inside, we used the remote and keys from the key box, and from then on, we used them to open and close the gate as needed. The private access to the beach was also a wonderful bonus and made our stay even more special.

Sheena was a great host. I’ve been to a few air BnB but never received such service. Sheena provided us with not just an accommodation but peace of mind too. We really enjoyed our stay and we will surely recommend the place and should we come back to Durban we booking the place again.

I spent 1 night at the house and really had a great time, the place is nice and clean with nice sea views. Paula has been an amazing host, very responsive,I strongly recommend it and will definitely come back for a longer stay.

I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment while in KZN for the Comrades Marathon. The space was immaculate, stylish, and had everything I could possibly need. What truly made this experience stand out was Janine, the host. From the moment I booked, her communication was exceptional—warm, funny, and refreshingly down-to-earth. She checked in every day with genuine care and good humour, making sure I had everything I needed and even sharing great local tips. Her friendly, light-hearted personality made me feel so welcome — it was like connecting with an old friend! The apartment itself had so many thoughtful touches: a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices, cooking oil, plenty of washing liquid, and all those little extras that are so often overlooked. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—it truly felt like a home away from home. I will absolutely be staying here again!
