We had a great stay. The Home Stretch was perfect for the calm and quiet getaway my family needed. The owners have meticulously thought through everything a guest may need or need to know and have labeled the home accordingly, which made getting settled in a breeze. Thank you for a great stay! 10/10 would stay again.

My husband and I decided to extend our honeymoon stay in the area and the lodging we had been staying at couldn’t host us for the extra day, which is how we came to find this gem! We loved this apartment and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was great and the home itself was just STUNNING. From the low lights & jazz music playing on arrival, to the cute & homey decor, to all the extras (robes, espresso, cozy blankets), this place completely impressed us. Oh, and the outdoor area was just an extra plus! The host was super responsive and sweet and couldn’t have possibly done anything better, it was all perfect! We would 100% recommend this stay and we hope to return for an anniversary trip!

We arrived late after an evening graduation. Easy self check in. Welcome package was a nice touch. The place was equipped with what was needed for a enjoyable stay. We had a car issue and owner messege me with solutions. Fortunately our family picked us up and we were able to continue celebrating. Was able to charge battery with her charger and extension cord. Maya assistance kept the graduation celebrations the focus. Much appreciated !

Great place to stay if you're in the area. we wanted to see the Flight 93 Memorial and this was the perfect stop. It was just over night so we didn't have time for a farm tour but I did see a bison! Roger is friendly and a wonderful host. Having a washer was great since we were on a road trip.

Beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Had everything we could have possibly wanted and the location was perfect for visiting wineries and breweries! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!

Driving back from the funeral of a favorite Uncle and dealing with family drama my soul was craving peace, comfort and a respite from everything for a bit. I found that respite in this Air BnB. The river view was blissful and everything was as described, no hassle and no surprises. Here are some things that I hope the reader finds helpful. 1) You can get the keys from the back porch entrance but bring your luggage up thru the carport door or the front don't try to bring your luggage up that spiral staircase. 2) Bring any silverware you may need and a coffee stirrer 3) The device to the side of the bed IS NOT THE AC CONTROL, lol it is the sleep number bed remote. Check that both sides are set to the same setting before getting into bed. Fun fact: Another guest must have thought it would be funny to switch one side on high and the other side on low. The bed sags on one side if you do that. It was so peaceful, I loved it. She couldn't have been more sweet and delightful.

Beth was a great host and her home is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. We felt right at home the moment we stepped through the door. The drive to Lynchburg was easy and the views of the mountains were wonderful. We definitely hope to be back soon. Thank you Beth!

Amazing location - so easy to walk everywhere. Place as described with lots of small thoughtful touches. Our favorites were the 3 in 1 body wash provided which smelled fantastic, the games in the living room and the record player. Decor gave a nod to the age of the building (gorgeous wood floors) and was fresh and clean.

Diane was very helpful, sent communications before I needed them. Home was clean and very organized with labels to help you get accustomed. Highly recommend her place.

Lovely, quiet little spot about half a mile from Blue Mountain and ten minutes from the entrance to Skyline Drive. Very comfy mattress and the door is coded so you don’t have to worry about losing the key. would definitely stay again, thanks!

Despite not being able to enjoy the place for an extended period of time. It definitely is as described, “A place to rest”. I had an 8 hour drive from CT so I arrived around 12:30 midnight. It was extremely peaceful and was able to get a good night rest. Will go again if need be.

Joyce was so welcoming and the apartment was fabulous! Loved the bird feeder, the private view, and also how personable Joyce & John are. The view over the mountains from their yard is gorgeous, and they invite guests to walk trails on the property. The apartment had everything I needed and was beautifully designed and decorated. I brought all of my food and found everything I needed to cook—great pans, extra staples like oil, spices and sugar. The whole reason I went was to hike in Cooper’s Rock State Forest, and Joyce told me about a little known trail that is not in the main part of the park—it turned out to be my favorite trail. I highly recommend staying at Cooper’s Retreat!!

Carolyn’s home is wonderful! So clean, many upgraded amenities - towels were plush and plentiful ! Kitchen so well stocked! Screened porch was a huge plus, spent SO much time on the porch and such a quiet neighborhood! Private driveway is a bonus as well. Thanks Carolyn!

The Bohemian Suite was such an absolute pleasure to stay in! When I walked in, I was immediately surrounded by an inviting space, colorful and fun decor, and beautiful signs everywhere with cute quotes. The bed was big and comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, the place was spotless. They thought of the details- had stocked the Keurig area, had a chess board set up to play, books in the reading nook, and even provided makeup towels! One thing I loved was that they did not have a TV out in the open, but did have one tucked away in a closet which was easy to roll out into whichever room you choose. Super clever and thoughtful! The ceilings in this suite were so high and gorgeous, it made the space feel huge. Walkable to everything in the town, easy parking, felt super safe and quiet. We absolutely were sad to leave to the Bohemian suite!

Really enjoyed the area and apartment. It was so nice after a busy day of coming back and relaxing so comfortably. We both agree we would love to stay again!

I absolutely loved staying here and seeing beautiful nature

Ed and Camille were amazing, they have a sweet apartment with a great Jacuzzi and pool. We were in town for a wedding and were blessed that Ed’s spot was open as it was only 15 minutes from the wedding venue. The apt was clean and everything was working, the kitchen was spotless as well. Ed and Camille were great, very communicative and nice people.

It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

Bryan & Heather were awesome hosts to work with. Very prompt with responses to questions. Their place was exactly as described and very comfortable for my husband and I. The views getting to the condo were amazing!!! It was very peaceful with only a few people around since we stayed off season for skiing. We would stay there again if return to the area in the future and their condo is available. Thank you again Bryan & Heather for sharing you condo. *Note to others considering this condo: Heads up; winding road up the mountain with many sharp turns could be a challenge in stormy weather.

Arshams listing is wonderful! Everything was so clean and fit all 5 of us so comfortably! We loved the tea options 😍. It was in perfect walking distances from great food, coffee places (and fun little bevs) as well as an easy walk to the metro! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at the Yoder School House. It was so peaceful and relaxing, especially the hot tub with a lovely view of the farmland and watching all the birds at the feeder and in the field over coffee in the mornings. The house had everything we could need - Rhoda is very thoughtful in stocking the kitchen and even leaving fun board games. We loved the proximity to the Casselman Creamery, and it was a great location for day trips to hike Mount Davis and explore Ohiopyle State Park in PA. WE would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

This was the 2nd time I have stayed here. Once downstairs & Once upstairs. Upstairs has a better view & more sunlight but I enjoyed downstairs too. The layout is about the same. The community is very quiet. Also very little noise between floors in the house with other guests. Comfortable beds. Nice showers. Comfortable furniture & functional kitchen. The deck is huge. The hot tub very nice. Always got a quick response from Host. We are picky and look for places who allow our dog but don't smell or look like they allow dogs. This place smelled fresh & was very clean. The location is ideal being just a few minutes from either Harper's Ferry or Shepardstown. It will likely be one of our "go to" spots in the future.

My friend and I had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful decorated house! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the center of town and close to all the local shops, restaurants, and activities. The home itself is full of charm and thoughtful touches, with plenty of natural light throughout. One of the highlights for me was the whirlpool bathtub—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved waking up in the sunlit bedroom feeling totally refreshed. Highly recommend this gem of a place!
