Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Shire of Augusta Margaret River

The birds and the breeze was a cute little gem in Augusta and created a wonderful base for our stay. It’s a traditional beach shack with all the trimmings of luxury that made the stay so wonderful! With beautiful linen, comfy beds, herbal teas, pod coffees, fire pit outside and so many little touches that you just kept finding! This space was about the “little things” so if you love a responsive, warm host, attention to detail, and the feeling of being back in the 70’s this is your space!!!! Walking distance to everything, it was very easy to get around and look forward to visiting again!!

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Saltus and were loathe to leave. The grounds were expansive, beautiful and peaceful. The villa itself was huge and extremely well equipped, from a chest full of board games in the TV room to everything you needed to whip up a meal with in the kitchen. The hot tub was perfection. We did find the main parts of the villa a bit on the cold side at night, though the bedrooms were warm enough because of the oil heaters. We definitely hope to be back.

We loved this stay. Nice, quite peaceful and beautiful but also close enough to everything. The inside was such a nice vibe and we loved seeing kangaroos while we were at the fireplaces. We went for a little wondering in the surrounding bush and found possums two of the three nights we were there so that was an added benefit

This is our second time staying at Jade’s Forest Grove Homestay, and it feels so comforting to be back. The house is just as beautifully maintained as we remember, and with this return, everything feels even more familiar and homely. It’s truly a place that welcomes us like an old friend.

The house was more beautiful than the pictures. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The place was very clean. The kitchen was impressive and very well equipped! We woke up to the views of Roos outside our windows!

The house was a great stay for me and my family. The pool table provided much entertainment and there were lots of areas to relax and socialise in. It was a nice large kitchen and spacious rooms that easily accommodated all of us. Mark was very prompt and great to communicate with which we appreciated greatly. The location was wonderful, peaceful to wake up to (with some kangaroo spotting!) and a short pleasant drive into Margaret River town. Thanks so much Mark!

Family had a lovely time away. All the extras with regards to games, pool table etc were pretty good. Great idea if it rains. Lots of space

The best couple of days at our Tiny Home in Margaret River. Everything we needed to enjoy the simple things and really tune in to each other’s company. Hosts were great and accommodating to our needs eg. purchasing firewood.

Easily the best place we’ve ever stayed! 8 Paddocks is ultra-modern and beautifully high-end, yet still warm, welcoming, and far from feeling sterile. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered — from the design to the amenities, it’s clear the hosts have gone above and beyond. One of the absolute highlights was the stunning bath on the balcony — I had two a day, soaking in the serenity and the incredible views. The friendly cows were an unexpected delight! They’d wander up to the fence for a carrot and made the whole experience feel even more magical. We truly didn’t want to leave and will be recommending 8 Paddocks to everyone we know. A perfect blend of luxury and charm — we can’t wait to return!

Our stay at 8 Paddocks was absolutely amazing. The chalet was, peaceful, close to town and immaculately presented. The attention to finer details and the local products used throughout made it so welcoming. Thankyou Kristie and Shane, we cant wait to visit again.

We enjoyed our time at Tanya’s place and felt lucky we got to meet the hosts. The recommendations they left us enabled us to explore super nice spots. The place is cozy, and our kids loved spending time in the gigantic backyard and felt spoiled for having home cooked meals and a nice bath while on the road. We just left today, and I already miss the place.

Had a really lovely, peaceful stay here and Mary was so kind and welcoming. The cottage and grounds were beautiful and had lots of relaxing walks in nature with my dog Bowie. Great place to stay with pets and for a little peaceful respite in nature

We had an incredible time at Cabin 21! I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, and this one easily ranks at the top—if not *the* best. The host clearly put thought into every detail and seemed to anticipate our every need. The space is beautifully minimalist yet fully equipped, with standout amenities like a sauna, grill, and even an air fryer. The bed was super comfortable, and the entire cabin had that cozy, curated vibe that makes you want to move in permanently. Honestly, it’s a millennial’s dream retreat. I already can’t wait to come back!

Kristie was an amazing host, so lovely, kind, and welcoming. Her place looked like it was straight out of a magazine: immaculately clean, beautifully modern, and thoughtfully styled. We truly enjoyed our stay and were grateful to celebrate a major milestone in such a peaceful and luxurious setting. The adorable cows were a bonus. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Kristie!

This is a great holiday house that has everything you need, is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. There was even two bags of ice in the freezer which was much appreciated. Perfect for a family with older children as they have their own space and it is the second time we have stayed here. Bed is super comfy and I love the sound of the ocean being so close. Also heaps of parking and an area in the backyard to have a fire. Hoping to book again next Easter!
