Nice experience to live in this house

We loved our stay here! If you want a taste of local life with a private beach, friendly neighbors, and a quiet getaway, this is your place. Risan is a smaller town away from the crazy traffic in Kotor. There were markets, a great gelato place, and two local restaurants that we really enjoyed. We had a rental car which made it easy to drive to visit Perast and Kotor, but we ended up so thankful we stayed here because it wasn’t covered in tourists and felt like a quiet oasis away from the crowds. Gorana and her parents were lovely! Helped us find a taxi one day and made us some sweets the next day. The view from Risan is incredible and we spent many evenings sitting by the sea. We 100% recommend and would come back and stay again.

Jelena was very responsive to all of our questions and provided helpful information about things to do in the area. The house was just as shown in the pictures and was very clean. Zeljka was a very good host. I liked the view of the house, the layout of the furniture, the cleanliness of the environment, and the availability of all the tools and equipment that might be needed. In addition, it was a very nice gesture to give us his own beach umbrella to use when we asked him to suggest a place where we could rent a beach umbrella. There was only one mirror in the house, and the fact that there was only one mirror in a house that offered accommodation for 4 people was a bit of a problem, but we didn't have much of a problem because it was a situation that could be improved.

Nenad is a great host. He was always in touch with us. He supported us with photos and images for easy check-in. It had its own private beach and parking space. There were more than enough towels and clean sheets for us. There were also all the necessary kitchenware. The house was very clean. When you close the windows and sills, it is very dark, which allowed us to sleep comfortably. It is great to have your own balcony, it was very enjoyable to watch the view of Kotor in the evenings. There was a smart TV, we could access youtube etc. In short, there is everything you need for a pleasant holiday.

Beautiful stay with amazing views and really great amenities. Dora’s father was so kind and welcoming, giving us lots of drinks and even goats cheese. Couldn’t have been happier with the place :))

Ana is very welcoming. We received a cup of coffee and tea upon arrival. Gave us good addresses to eat and even drove us to a tavern where we feasted

Absolutely amazing stay. Fantastic host and family. The best location in Kotor and easy travel into the old town. We will be back in no time.

I highly recommend this apartment. The large balcony has a fantastic view of the bay of Budva and it's a quick walk down the hill to the old town and Mogren breach. The apartment itself was very clean and has plenty of space with three double bedrooms. The host was very helpful throughout our stay.

Jelena was very hospitable and helpful. She allowed us to check-in early due to an early flight. My 2 year old had a wild time at the large garden and wonderful orchards. The house was the right size and kitchen had all that was needed for family cooking. The house had air conditioning in the living room and master bedroom which was amazing in the August heat. The area around the house is absolutely stunning. Though roads are very tricky, so not great for access through public transport or for inexperienced drivers. Overall we had an amazing time and would love to visit again.

the accommodation is so great! It's a lot of fun to give the turtles a little fruit and salad and just watch them. If you want to go to the sea, you drive a little more than half an hour. Ndoc and his wife are incredibly nice people. Unfortunately, we broke the lock a little and although it was our fault, he was still so helpful and repaired it right away. On the day of departure, we went to the vet with a stray and it was no problem to leave our luggage in the accommodation and pick it up later. So everything is just great!! Thank you for that ☺️

A great place to stay, the host was super helpful in any questions we had and flexible with check in times. Nice view of the mountains from the balcony and everything you need in the area. It’s roughly a 30min walk to the Old town and a 15-20min walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this property

As other reviews have mentioned, Gasper was a great host! He had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Shkoder. We also spoke with his father, who was very helpful and kind. The location was very good and Shkoder itself is very walkable. The apartment was very clean and felt homey. We loved that this Airbnb had unique decorations and history for the family.

We spend three days relaxing in the house. For us it was exactly what we looked for.

Dodosi is a beautiful place to visit. Drive around lake Skadar you will see stunning scenery. The village is small so not a vast amount to do, so plan stuff, a trip on a boat around the lake, a visit to Niagara falls, a wine tasting experience, is what we did. Equally if you want peace n quiet then look no further. The wildlife is pretty spectacular as well, birds on the lake, a rarity in seeing a pelican, a few tortoise roaming around, snakes. Add to that cows, horses, sheep, donkies all seem to be in and out and around the village. This rustic way of life, for us was fantastic. So don't expect all the whistles and bells of a 5 star hotel, it is very rustic and a little step back into time. There are a couple of drinking places in Dodosi, one as you come into Dodosi and the other next to the river, this one serves food and we had lunch there and it was lovely, a note here only open weekends when in early season. The road getting to Dodosi can be a little tricky as it's very small.

Super close to the old town, and steak restaurant near by is good! Bedroom got nice and dim with the window shades and fan in room even though there was AC as well!

We had a lovely stay at this place. Description and pictures are consistent with the apartment. The latter is very well located in the small town of Rijeka (close to a convenience store, restaurants and the river). Ivana is very good tips for restaurants nearby and is very responsive when we have a question. She also advised us to take a boat ride with her dad at sunset on Lake Skadar. Amazing experience, which we highly recommend! You can book your stay with Ivana without a second thought.

Nice apartment in a modern house. Location might look a bit far from old town or beaches, but it's not: only 10-15 minutes by foot. Goran was friendly and responded quickly. The shower head was a bit leaking, however this wasn't a problem for me.

Perfect. A little far from Kotor on foot. But we had the car. A little off-road, but then it's perfect. The apartment is great. Thank you.

The apartment itself is spacious, airy, and spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for me was the breathtaking view from the balcony. No photos can truly capture how stunning it is. Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee on the swing or watching the rain roll in, the view is absolutely mesmerizing. The host was always available and responded within minutes whenever I needed assistance. This place exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect, peaceful retreat. You won’t find a more welcoming space or a more considerate host.

Francesk was very welcoming and helpful. I arrived in the city earlier than the check-in time and he was able to accommodate me earlier. Instructions to get in were very clear as well. The place was clean and quiet and is located near everything. It also had a washing machine, detergent and ironing board which was amazing because I desperately needed to do Laundry after spending 3 nights in Valbona and Theth. It's 100% worth the money to get a private and quiet place with a nice view after having to share dorms with people. I cancelled my hostel booking for the night for this apartment instead and I'm so happy that I did. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially after Valbona and Theth where you need a good night's sleep or alone time like me. Thank you Francesk for your hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful place and great hosts. The scent of Jasmine immediately as you enter the property is something I will always remember. Peaceful neighbourhood. The Studio had everything we needed and host was very kind and helpful. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. We enjoyed Budva and your home very much.

We had a fantastic stay at Smiljka’s place. Immaculately clean, and every detail thought of. Amenities including air con were great. She was extremely responsive during our stay, including recommendations on where to hire a car from, as well as tips about the local area. The location is as described, less than 5 minute stroll to the beach (it is a pebble beach, so would recommend swim shoes or Crocs if you can) and 10 minutes from Kotor Old Town, which was beautiful and full of places to go to eat and explore. We travelled by car, so a private parking spot so central was an added bonus. It was a little tricky to find initially, but Smiljka was amazing, communicated with us the whole time and met us on the road and guided us in. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking to travel to Kotor. Thanks for a great stay Smiljka!
