The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Come enjoy your stay in our 1900 sq ft 19thcentury restored stone barn. We’re 15 minutes from Sight and Sound and the shops at Strasburg. With lots of trails and the Susquehanna River close by, your family can spend many hours hiking in southern Lancaster County. Experience the local Britain Hill Vineyard,coffee,and ice cream shops nearby. The charming city of Lancaster with its many authentic restaurants is only a 20 minute drive. Nestled between the NCR Rail Trail and two flowing creeks, this location offers both adventure and relaxation at its finest. Explore the over 40 mile bike trail via E-bike, soak in the hot tub while you enjoy sounds of the creek, or ride the train right through the front yard! This idyllic cabin features professionally designed spaces that are sure to please!

Here you will find a quiet, simple place to stay with a nice view overlooking the creek. It has all the necessary amenities. Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher. Full size washer and dryer. There is a small porch overlooking the creek. Sony 50" smart tv Keurig with a complimentary assortment of coffee pods. Fireplace This cabin has its own private fire pit. *Pets are welcome, there is a once per stay $20 pet fee. Two pets maximum please. **No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed.

Whether you are just passing through, on vacation, or working in the area and need a place to stay, you can expect all the comforts of home. We are located on a main road so please realize that you may be able to hear traffic passing by. A white noise machine is available. We also provide a fully equipped kitchen, a dedicated office, full bathroom and an amazing mahogany balcony.

The area is surrounded by country and Amish charm, with nearby hiking trails, while a 30 minute drive will have you in downtown historic Lancaster City where you can stroll, shop and on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday visit the historic Central Market.
