We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Comme toujours avec Joelle le séjour se passe à merveille merci à elle pour sa gentillesse , sa disponibilité et les lieux qui propose un logement de qualité. Au plaisir de revenir à Monségur et y séjourner à nouveau !

Charlotte et Jérôme sont très accueillants et disponibles, tout est pensé pour qu'on s'y sente bien, la location est très fonctionnelle ! Arrivée et départ autonomes pratique. Le cadre est très agréable, pas de vis à vis ni de nuisance sonore. La maison est parfaitement propre, la literie confortable. Très bon séjour, je recommande !

Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

Logement cosy en plein Périgord noir dans un environnement paisible . Belle superficie et magnifique terrasse . Lydia et Julien sont très sympathiques et malgré un long pont de jours fériés , ils ont tenu à venir voir si tout était ok pour nous . Accueil avec une bouteille de vin . Le linge et les draps qui sentent merveilleusement bon . Par contre , wifi un peu juste pour du télétravail. Je recommande.

I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Suzy est accueillante et arrangeante. Le gîte est très bien équipé, comme à la maison, avec la piscine et sa terrasse en plus 😊 Très bonne situation, proche du centre ville, des commerces mais tout en étant au calme avec une superbe vue. We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Bedankt voor de geweldige vakantie! Gillian en Phil zijn heel vriendelijk en geven supertips om de omgeving te ontdekken. Alles was netjes en we genoten van de rust en de prachtige omgeving. Het verblijf was nog mooier in real life dan op de foto’s. We komen zeker terug!

Habitation avec beaucoup de caractère, très bien équipée et très beau potentiel parfaitement exploité. Laurence et Jean-Michel sont très accueillants, prévenants et disponibles. Jean-Michel amateur passionné de boulangerie, nous a concocté des viennoiseries et du pain excellents pour notre petit déjeuner. (Commande sur demande). Lieu idéal pour passer un très bon moment de détente. Beaucoup de villages pittoresques à visiter aux alentours. Merci à eux, et au plaisir d'y retourner.

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Séjour parfait chez Lizzie et Pascal. Le lieu est magnifique et paisible et l’accueil fort sympathique. Notre petit pigeonnier était très cosy et très agréable! Parfait pour notre séjour! L’emplacement est très central entre bergerac, sarlat et Périgueux mais également proche des magnifiques différents villages de la région. Nous avons eu du mal à repartir!

Our stay at les peupliers was exactly what we had hoped for. The gite was exactly as described and the swimming pool was superb. We wanted to arrive a day earlier than we had booked and we were immediately offered a guest room in the family home which was perfect. Laurence and Mike are excellent hosts. They were friendly, helpful and provided lots of really useful information about the area. Thanks for the birthday card Laurence and the home made fig Jam!

A lovely private old cottage on beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. The cottage is fenced in, so the dog can run free in the garden. It has everything you need and is nice and cool on hot summer days. Patrick was so welcoming. We loved our stay here.

Stunning house with everything we could of needed! Super comfy beds and all having our own ensuite was fab. Small supermarket is only a stroll away with everything we needed for a weekend food shop! Sophie was lovely and let us come in the house before it was ready/ check in to put our cases in. Thanks again for a lovely weekend!

We stayed 3 wonderful months in Veronique’s house. We had our two small dogs with us and the yard was securely fenced and safe for them. The house is in a vineyard and Guilherme (Veronique’s son) frequently came to tend his vines. Guilherme is a charming young man and we looked forward to seeing him and chatting with him. Guilherme respected our privacy but we always went out to chat with him if we saw him. He also was quick to respond to any questions we had and he is a good source of information about the area. The house is stylishly decorated and has nice new furniture and beds all of which are comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. We have stayed in many rental houses for the past 8 months as we first drove across the US and then moved to France. Veronique’s house was by far the best house that we rented. So many houses had broken down uncomfortable furniture. We will cherish the good memories we have of staying in Veronique’s house! Thank you, Veronique!

The apartment is right in the towns center. What was not clear from the pictures is that it in fact two stories, the bedrooms are upstairs as well as the spacious bathroom. The living room and well equiped kitchen are downstairs on the street level. This was very comfortable with kids, as they could go to bed while the grownups enjoyed a glass of the regional wine downstairs. If you travel with small children you will be pleased to hear that there is a washingmashine as well as other children equipment and even a saftey gate at the stairs! Yannik and Mrs. Bertou were very friendly. We will be sure to book the same place again on our next visit of the region.

We loved our stay at Yolande's place, the garden was huge and pool area was a perfect place to relax with lovely views of the Dordogne. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to the centre of Bergerac. Our dog loved the garden too.

Un week-end "au vert" bien agréable. Paule et son mari ont été à la fois présents et discrets, et sympathiques. Le logement est situé à proximité de tout (commerces) et au calme. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir chez Paule en cas de besoin ! Merci à vous

One night stay. Beautiful milieu. Relaxing space. Super comfortable bed. Friendly, responsive & generous host.

Magnifique maison, au calme, au cœur du Périgord noir. Les quelques jours étaient particulièrement ensoleillés. Le matin, petit déjeuner sur la terrasse en surplomb face à la nature qui s’éveille. Le midi, déjeuner à l’arrière de la maison à l’ombre dans le jardin. Le soir, retour sur la terrasse pour un dîner face au coucher de soleil. Le tout, sans vis-à-vis. Les seuls compagnons peuvent être les moutons voisins et les chevreuils. La maison est vaste et agréable. Et le hamac intérieur permet un repos original, au frais, lorsqu’il fait chaud dehors.
