House holiday rentals in Sigtuna

It was such a lovely house in lovey peaceful surroundings and a lovely garden. We wished we had spent a few more nights rather than just the 3 because we never had chance to explore the local area properly. Herald was really helpful and friendly with plenty of local suggestions and we would definitely consider coming back to stay.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

The hardest part was leaving, because everything was great. Uffe is absolutely fantastic! He was super helpful and always easy to reach. He rented me his daughter's bike for my entire 13 day stay at a great price. Having a bike made getting around much quicker and more flexible than relying on public transports, which are still only a ten minute walk away. Whenever I needed anything, he responded immediately with a solution. For example, when I needed a hairdryer, he sorted it out right away. The accommodation itself is stunning: spotless, tidy, and completely new. The location couldn't be better! The property borders a nature reserve, so in the evenings, I could "watch" roe deer from the window. The accommodation is also very convenient for those working or visiting SLU, as it's just 21 min away. Shops are just 10 min bike ride away, and the city center is a scenic 20 min ride along the river. I highly recommend stay here. I hope to stay here again soon!!

We had a fantastic stay! Magdalena and Oscar were super friendly, responsive, and welcoming, so everything was easy and smooth. The house is beautiful, with a spacious garden, lovely pool, and a charming greenhouse we really enjoyed. Surrounded by stunning nature, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Would love to come back!

Johan and Laila's beautiful house meets all the requirements. Super spacious and nicely located on the waterfront with running trail. We had a wonderful time thanks to the very good care of the hosts. Highly recommended!

An absolutely beautiful house with a very great location. There were also more than enough play opportunities for the children. The family responded very quickly to messages and thus saved our vacation. Absolutely recommended. I'm sure we'll be back.

An incredible and very special location - we spent a few days here with our 4 year old daughter and we all had such a fun, relaxing time.

Johanna is the best host you can think, thoughtful and welcoming. We were there for two nights to have a 70th birthday party with children and grandchildren. The spacious castle wing and garden suited us perfectly. Johanna had decorated and also served with ice for the champagne cooler. The kids loved the visit to the wooly and cute calves with Johanna.

Enjoyable place to stay! Accommodated a last minute booking. Very close to a stores and the train.

We absolutely loved staying at Magdalena's place, it was impeccable clean and exactly like the photos. We were two young families visiting and enjoyed the living area and ofcourse the sauna. We took walks around the neighbourhood and cooked every day, the beds are very comfy and would love to come back. Also Magdalena is a superhost responding swiftly to all our questions and super accommodating. Thank you so much for having us.

What more can you say about this place? I'm going to do my fingernail this time; and of course there were plasters in all sizes available :)

You will need to go there to believe how truly beautiful this place is. We are a family of five and spent a wonderful week on Viggsö Island. We have never had a better host than Harry, extremely friendly, helpful, and always available! We would love to come back one time.

We had a very nice week at Susanne's. The weather didn't quite cooperate, but we always felt comfortable. Susanna was always available and gave us good tips for hiking. But we preferred to be at the lake.

We had a wonderful stay. Marie & Tobias's cabin is located in a peaceful rural area, perfect for anyone looking to escape busy city life. The house itself is cozy and has everything you need. We found the beds to be very comfortable.

Our stay at Sofia's house was absolutely perfect. The home is beautiful, full of charm, and very well equipped — it has a very authentic Swedish feel, and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. The location in Sigtuna is ideal: a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with easy access to the lake and the town. Sophia was a wonderful host — kind, helpful, and quick to answer any questions we had. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to fully enjoy the Walpurgis Night celebrations in Sigtuna, which made our stay even more special. Thank you again, Sofia!

An awesome house for a big group. with more than enough bathrooms, toilets and places to retreat to. A large well equipped kitchen. We could barbeque outdoors with enough outdoor seating. We enjoyed the nature around the island including a lake view and very pretty forest close to the house. What a beautiful and restful setting with perfect weather in the height of spring. It would be lovely to return and experience autumn there as well with the wide range of both deciduous and evergreen trees. Our group enjoyed the bird song, the many deer sightings and other game along with the wild flowers that were blooming. We even saw a moose in the fields. In conclusion, though we were fortunate with perfect temperatures and only occasional rain, in any regard, the home and surroundings were ample and gorgeous! We would highly recommend.

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

My time at Ole’s place flew by way too quickly. Thanks to his and Evas recommendations, I got to see a lot of the surrounding area and always had a very good, restful sleep. I can highly recommend the accommodation and would love to come back (and I’m already looking forward to new jogging route suggestions)! We stayed in Sebastian’s home at the beginning of June with our 2 & 3 year old. We couldn’t believe how beautiful the area was and loved spending most of the week outside. There are two lakes within a 10 minute walk (toddler pace) and endless other walks / hikes to other lakes & the coast. We recommend you download the all trails app for access to all the options. It’s a lovely little community, The neighbours were very friendly and happily allowed our children to use their trampoline, garden toys, play with their pets etc. His home is full of his personal history. We loved the emotional connection to Ukraine and were so moved by the photos. The grocery store a 10 minute drive away has everything you need. It took us 30 minutes to reach Stockholm by car and we found it easy to do day trips. Sebastian was very responsive, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this stay!

Perfect accommodation if you want to experience Stockholm, but also like to retreat into nature - you can combine it wonderfully here! Both the city center and many nature reserves with great forests, lakes and hiking opportunities are within easy reach by rental car! Robin's cottage was a great oasis for our girlfriend trip. We loved the quiet location on the rocky slope amidst pine groves and the huge wooden terrace with sauna /pool! Also the super-equipped kitchen for extensive cooking and barbecue evenings - an all-round perfect Pentecost weekend! Communication with Robin was super easy and you felt right at home 😊 Always happy to come back!
