Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sintra

we were a family of 5. The location was perfect for us. Quiet but also not far from everything. Amazing views! The house is charming. It was also nice to have the pool as it got hot.

It was a pleasure staying at Ricardo’s place. The place is on the first floor of the house and has big lawns, fruit orchards and ample parking space. The view of low hills and sunrise from the balcony was beautiful. My daughter enjoyed the hammock in the balcony. Overall it was a very nice, peaceful and soul soothing stay in natural surroundings.

Wonderful stay at Sofia‘s place. My daughter and I created some wonderful memories. She was really helpful the entire time we were there, especially with my broken adapter and suggestions for what to do with a limited amount of time. Would like to stay here again someday. Thank you very much Sofia.

Esta casa é um paraíso mesmo ao lado de Lisboa! Passei três dias neste lugar com os meus amigos e é consensual que é a nossa casa de sonho. Todos moramos em Lisboa e podíamos ter pensado que não valia a pena alugar uma casa a 40 minutos de distâncias mas, sem sombra de dúvida, foi a melhor decisão que tomámos! A casa vale só por si, pois tem uma vista fantástica, rodeada de natureza, no cimo de um vale, e uma piscina maravilhosa, com vista directa para o pôr do sol. A luz dourada deixa saudade! Também aproveitámos as praias Palmela e Sesimbra, que se destacam pela água turquesa e pela vegetação em volta. Quem me dera passar mais tempo neste alojamento! É dos lugares mais bonitos onde já estive. A casa em si é confortável e bem equipada e a Annemie é uma pessoa super acessível e muito simpática! E adorámos a gatinha Tigra, é muito doce. Sinto-me sortuda por este fim-de-semana neste lugar mágico.

A great house with all that you need and very quiet location. Colares is an ideal location and easy for beaches/Sintra/Cascais and only 45 mins from Lisbon. Lee and Sabina very helpful/responsive.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in Carlos’s apartment. Everything we needed was there. If I had any issues at all Carlos was extremely prompt at responding and resolving things. I had misinterpreted the apartment as having a garden. There are 2 outside chairs at the end of the driveway within locked gates but not a ‘garden’ as such. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Super fijne locatie en hele lieve gastvrouw! Appartement was netjes en schoon en zag er nog beter uit dan op de foto's. Bij aankomst was er brood en vers beleg en eieren klaar gelegd. Gabriela bood aan om later uitchecken aangezien we de avond ervoor nog tot laat een bruiloft hadden, super lief!

vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt in Lissabon in einer sehr schönen Wohnung mit bequemen Masterbett, toller Aussicht vom Balkon mit wunderbarem Weitblick. Tolle Küche, spannende Möbel mit Geschichte. Im fensterlosen, kleinen Bad wird es schnell sehr stickig, aber dennoch toll ausgestattet für die Größe.

Heel mooi verblijf met prachtig uitzicht. Super fijn vriendinnen weekend gehad! Alles op loopafstand en het appartement was schoon.

Sehr ruhige Lage, riesige bestens eingerichtete Wohnung.

Wir sind mit einem Baby gereist und daher war Paulas Unterkunft ein Glücksgriff für uns. Es gab einen Kinderstuhl, Babybett und Spielsachen. Die Kommunikation mit Paula war super. Sie ist sogar auf unseren Wunsch eingegangen etwas früher einchecken zu können. Alles war einwandfrei.

Great host, nice little apartment which is very well equipped.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Rafael's apartment. It was a fully equipped apartment that was very comfortable, exactly as described, spotlessly cleaned (maintained by a cleaning lady once a week) and in a beautiful residential area. Rafael was also lovely to communicate with, very helpful and always making sure we were ok. We'll be staying at this apartment in the future too!

We had an amazing 4-night stay in this beautiful apartment! From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive and helpful—quick to answer any questions and even allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself is stunning, with gorgeous decorations that make it feel both stylish and comfortable. It’s located in an incredible neighborhood right in the heart of Alfama—perfect for exploring on foot. We loved all the food, drink, and shopping recommendations provided; every place we tried was fantastic. Overall, it was a perfect home base for our trip. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Wunderschöne Wohnung in toller Lage, perfekt ausgestattet. Besonders gut haben uns der Ausblick auf die Stadt vom Balkon, die Restaurants, Bars und die Viewpoints in unmittelbarer Nähe gefallen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es direkt um die Ecke. Vielen Dank auch für die Möglichkeit, außerhalb der festen Zeiten einzuchecken. Die Unterkunft ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Luis & Beatriz are amazing hosts. The home was beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The grounds were AMAZING and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time there and will look forward to returning in the future. We highly recommend this property for those visiting the Terrugem/Sintra area. The Oak Cafe was wonderful for brunch and you must have dinner at least 1 night at Azenhas do Mar, for the food and views as well as Mercado Saloio located in Sintra for the nightly music and delicious food and good service. The spa in Cascais is amazing as well. All recommendations of Luis & Beatriz Other places we found were the Marina and shops in Cascais as well as a wonderful little eatery for brunch/ lunch called Mugs Brunch and Cafe in Pedregal. Amazing views and delicious food. Thanks Luis & Beatriz for making our first trip to Portugal amazing. Looking forward to returning.

We had the most amazing stay at this villa! We were a group of 16 friends and the space was absolutely perfect for us—spacious, super clean, and really well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short taxi to beautiful beaches and some great beach bars. 20 mins to the centre of Lisbon. What made our stay even more special was the host. So friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our trip. Star went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and connected us with the loveliest Chef to cook for us one evening. Highly recommend this place for large groups looking for a sunny getaway. We’d definitely come back! 🌞🏖️

We loved this home- very convenient to Sintra and the beaches, wonderful cafe nearby, and charming comfortable home. Enjoyed the outdoor space for relaxing or dining. We would definitely stay again. Rosa was very kind and accommodating when our plans changed and we were able to book an additional night.

Die Vermieter Teresa und Rui sind ausserordentlich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, gemütlich und nahe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es war sogar eine Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln vorhanden inklusive Brot, Obst und Pastel de Nata. Wir haben die Zeit und den Luxus sehr genossen und können es nur empfehlen. The house is really lovely and with a lot of character. It is great for a bigger group to share and the pool area in particular is fantastic. Rooms are all reasonably comfortable and with their own bathrooms. There are minor things that could easily be fixed to make the space feel more luxurious as the price is quite high - couple of broken/wobbly furniture items, some more kitchen utensils / glasses as usually it would be a big group staying, some general comfort supplies, quality of toiletries etc. But these are small things - overall its a very nice space with lots of privacy and a nice location.
