Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sisteron

Vue magnifique sur Sisteron, sa citadelle et les montagnes alentours. Très belle maison, très propre, très bien agencée, avec tous les équipements nécessaires et en très bon état pour un séjour de grand confort. Logement idéal pour nous pour un week-end au Mas des Cinq Fontaines, 900m plus haut par la route. Certainement la location la plus proche, critère très important à nos yeux dans le cadre d'un mariage. Seule ombre au tableau, nous n'étions là que pour un week-end et n'avons pas pu profiter de toutes les commodités de la maison et de la région de Sisteron :)

This is truly the absolute best spot to stay in the Luberon. You walk outside your door and are literally just steps to an incredible boulangerie, coffee spot, restaurants, history, and scenery that is awe inspiring. The decor was stunning. This is the rare AirBnB that is better than the pictures- and they were great already! We loved closing out the day with a glass of rose’ on the balcony watching the incredible scenery. The cold plunge pool was such a lovely experience- we are converts! Denis provided exceptional hospitality - he checked in to make sure we had all we needed and was such a treasure. He went above and beyond on his host duties. Our family all agreed this is the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. It has so much character- you feel like you are in a castle- but with modern conveniences like laundry and a great kitchen! If you are even considering this place, book this special home! What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse on a quiet street near the village of Gordes. La Bastide des As is absolutely beautiful, blending rustic charm with chic decor and modern amenities. The house is spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the lovely pool and outdoor dining areas- perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding villages. Sophie was truly amazing. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to make our stay special. She sent us advance recommendations on activities, dining, vineyards and shopping. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. It’s a lovely place for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Provence—a perfect combination of tranquility and modern comforts. We can’t wait to return!

De gîte ligt prachtig en biedt een fantastisch uitzicht. Voor ons was de locatie perfect, met voor iedereen een eigen kamer. Wat fijn was zodat sommigen zich konden voorbereiden op een volgende zweefvliegdag of nog wat konden werken. Alles wat je nodig hebt is beschikbaar met een volledig ingerichte keuken. De tuin met de vele zitjes is heerlijk, je voelt je ‘on the top of the world’. De ontvangst was hartelijk en de rondlopende kat was erg gezellig. Het weer was helaas te koud om het zwembad te gebruiken, erg jammer. We hebben een prima week gehad, en het is voor herhaling vatbaar.

Logement très confortable et très bien équipé. Bastien et son épouse sont très réactifs et très arrangeants. L'emplacement permet l'accès à de très belles randonnées et offre un superbe point de vue.

We hebben met ons gezin met 3 jonge kinderen een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Magali. Het huis is zeer ruim en ook de schaduwrijke veranda is heerlijk op warme dagen. De omgeving is rustig met prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Le Colorado de provence en de zaterdag markt van Apt zijn aanraders om te bezoeken en dichtbij. Het zwembad is fantastisch en zeer geschikt voor het spel van jonge kinderen. Magali is vriendelijk en heeft ons goede tips gegeven. Dank Magali!

A perfect place to hide away in plain view in Provence. Right in the middle of the stunning town of Menerbes. Steps away from all the restaurants and the curated epicerie. Although pricey, definitely worth it. Maison O was exactly how we imagined it to be. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Beds extremely comfortable and bathrooms with excellent showers which were definitely needed since the day time temperature never went below 30 for the whole week. Apropos that. A little more shade for the terrace would have been much appreciated. Although there is no AC the interior rooms stayed coolish if all doors and windows were kept closed. The whole experience was fabulous. Our favourite evening activity after the heat of the mid day was a stroll to Cafe Progres, purchasing an Apéritif and sitting on their terrace overlooking the valley. A light breeze to cool us down and a chat with the locals. It really was the quintessential experience in Provence. We would not hesitate to return.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Christelle. Un vrai cocon avec une vue époustouflante. Le mobilier et la décoration ont été choisis avec goût. Simple et chaleureux. De très belles randonnées au pied du logement. Des petites douceurs et boisson rafraîchissante nous attendaient. Christelle nous a donné de très bons conseils pour les randonnées à faire car nous ne connaissions pas du tout le coin. Nous recommandons très fortement !

Incredible, incredible, incredible , here are some things to know about Aix and the apt… … 6/21 solstice,, the city stays up until 2am. Don’t plan on sleeping before that unless u have big-time ear plugs. … it gets dark really late, it’s amazing in summertime. … if you rent a car, the Parc rotunda is an easy walk 1/2 mile walk and easy to deal with 25 euro for a full day. You will probably park for 10-12 hrs at a time for 13 euro. Worth it if you go to Avignon , Arles, Nimes, Cassis, etc … you can’t go wrong in Aix, and this apt is beautifully placed and beautiful, comfortable, has AC, a nice fan, a working kitchen, great furniture, a piano, a very comfortable bed, great private washing facilities, and a great shower. We did not use the Balcony because it was only two of us and it’s almost just an escape for smokers ….there are 78 steps to climb to get to the apt. It’s hard, be warned. And that’s without luggage. Be warned! Very secure tho.

Ein wunderschöner magischer Platz mit atemberaubender Aussicht von der in die Stadtmauer eingefügten Terrasse auf das gegenüberliegende Bonnieux und Teile des Luberon . Im alten liebevoll behutsam renovierten inneren Teil der Wohnung mit ihrem mittelalterlichen Steingemäuer und passender teilweiser antiker Möblierung fühlt man sich in die Atmosphäre eines Fantasyromans versetzt. Die Kommunikation und die Einweisung durch eine der Gasgeberinnen im Vorlauf unseres Aufenthaltes verlief problemlos. Die Wohnung lässt sich nur empfehlen.

Visited Sisteron because of a Sourdough Viennoiserie course. After staying a few nights in Nice, prior to driving to Sisteron, in a not-so-comfy Airbnb, walking into this space was exciting because my sister and I felt right at home. We were only a 5 minute walk away from the center of town and only a 7 minute drive to a grocery store. Also, the train station is a 5 minute walk away. There's also two gas stations close by which was super convenient since we rented a car. The kitchen was equipped with so much and, we had fun cooking some meals while there. If I ever end up in Sisteron again, I will rent this space out!

The apartment design is wonderful as is its location on the top floor. The soothing colors and linen textiles make it feel luxurious! And the light and views are exceptional. There is a 1.5 hour loop walk you can do to Cadenet which we did each morning for coffee. Caroline is helpful and left welcome gifts we enjoyed. You can tell they have put their hearts into the place.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Gréoux les bains. L’appartement était parfait, super calme avec une magnifique vue. Gel douche, shampoing et serviettes disponibles. Cuisine bien équipée, un grand frigo. Ce petit séjour était bien relaxant 😊

L'appartement et son jardin étaient parfaits. Rien ne manquait. Très calme avec une belle vue. Le lac et sa région sont splendides. Hôtes très réactifs et sympathiques.

Appartement très cocooning & très fonctionnel. Isabelle est une hôte très sympathique qui vous communique de bonnes adresses. Vous pouvez y séjourner en toute quiétude.

Super séjour chez Sophie ! L’appartement est idéalement situé et très fonctionnel. On apprécie la terrasse et le ventilateur pour l’été 🙂 Le stationnement et l’accès sécurisé sont idéals. Nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir lors d’un prochain passage à Gap ! Merci ☺️

Wir würden 10 Sterne vergeben, die Wohnung ist toll, die Lage der Vera da über dem Fluss, die Terrasse am Fluss gibt eine natürliche Klimatisierung an heissen Tagen, am Abend ist die Stimmung besonders gemütlich mit dem Plätschern des Flusses, den sich darin Spiegelungen Lichtern von Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. Im Herzen des viel besuchten Städtchens, wo abends die Ruhe einkehrt. Dann der bequemer Privatparkplatz und nachmittags unter den Platanen am Fluss im grossen Privatpark sitzen und ein Buch lesen. Wunderbar. Wir können die Wohnung unbedingt empfehlen. Denis war immer erreichbar und hat uns den Checkin bestens ermöglicht und viele Tipps gegeben. Er ist sehr nett und seinen Gästen gegenüber aufgeschlossen. Danke Denis für alles!

Très belle appartement nous avons eu la chance de dormir sur un matelas neuf et excellent. Pleins de belles attentions petit gâteux bouteille d’eau gazeuse au frigo . La communication avec Philippe et Christine est top très réactif Nous conseillons

Très bel appartement, nous sommes tombés sous son charme, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très bien équipé, situé dans une résidence privée et sécurisée avec un beau parc bien entretenu avec la Sorgue à côté que du bonheur ! Le parking privé, un plus dans ce village très touristique ! Nous avons été sensibles par les délicates attentions laissées par Isabelle et Mathieu à notre arrivée. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Die Wohnung ist super gelegen. Etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum, dafür sehr sehr ruhig. Positiv sind die viele Parkplätze vorm Haus und ein kleiner Supermarkt für das Nötigste. Wir haben die Wohnung sehr sauber vorgefunden. Sie ist ausreichend groß und sehr gut aufgeteilt. Das Bad ist auch schön groß, man kann sich super bewegen. Ein sehr schöner Blick vom Balkon auf Greoux-les-Bains. Vor allem am Abend. Die Kommunikation mit Amaury war stets super. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Überlegt nicht, bucht einfach. Herzlichen Dank Amaury!
