Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sitio de Calahonda

We all had a lovely stay at the apartment and miss being there. The property was ideally located with breathtaking views and peaceful. Marco was very friendly and helpful. It was an excellent stay and we would love to go back again.

Had a brilliant stay there far enough away from central Marbella that you don’t have any trouble however still a 20 minute drive to Puerto Beanus and old town Marbella. Host was welcoming and kind giving really good recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Both communal pool and private pool were perfect for our group as well as the spacious bedrooms. We would definitely recommend and return.

My family and I had a fantastic four days. The accommodation is even better than in the photographs. It has all the comforts and is very equipped. What we liked most was the garden and the natural light the house has. We went with a two-month-old baby and Jose and Inmaculada provided us with a travel cot. It's a house totally adapted to a baby. The location is perfect for getting around Malaga's best-known sites. The hosts are very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Jose recommended several places to eat. Definitely a very good experience

Shops, a couple of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Short 5 minute walk to the seafront and a nice boardwalk to walk along to Cala de Mijas and the other way down to a nice marina with multiple bars/restaurants and beaches to stop either way. Short 20 minute walk into Cala which is a nice small town. Good bus service on the main road below the property so a car is definietly not essential. Around 30 minutes either way to Fuengarolla or Marbella. We experienced no noise from the main road when sitting outside or on an evening in bed. Quiet area as opposed to Fuengerolla or Marbella which suited. Nice clean accomodation in a nice quiet setting. The outside area is very relaxing in a beautiful private garden setting. Franck was very helpful with advice before our arrival and came to see us to make sure evertything was okay and gave helpful information on the local shops. Left us to our devices but was on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend.

The accommodation was beautiful. Fully described as in the description. What was very nice at the late arrival was that the fridge was already filled with some basic things such as water, milk, toppings for the day behind. This didn't have to be done at all, but was a pleasant surprise and did a lot. The check in checkout went very smoothly. The pool could be heated, which was very nice for the children during this period April. The kitchen was very pleasant to use and the view of the garden/pool was nice, so you always had connection to outside, if you were making food inside. Decision : phenomenal villa in a perfect location !

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s place in Marbella! The location right on the beach was perfect, the unit was comfortable and had everything we needed, and Laura was incredibly helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!

We stayed as a family with two kids and that was very good to do! Cynthia arranged a cot for our three-month-old baby at no extra cost. High chair not available, but it was not necessary. Everything looked very good, actually even better than in the pictures. A downside was the swimming pool, which has few shaded areas, but Cynthia can't do anything about that. Really very close to the beach, only we found the beach a little less child-friendly and clean. We went on the recommendation to cabopino, rented loungers at Cacoa beach bar, really recommended. Easily one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. Nicole was always quick to respond and ever so helpful. The apartment is beautiful, from the furniture to the decoration, the fantastic bathroom and the perfectly equipped kitchen, it genuinely has just about everything you could need for in a home, and that’s why this is so special - because you feel at home very easily and aren’t left wanting for anything. Having a full sized swimming pool is such an attraction, because most apartment complexes have very small pools that you can’t do lengths in. This one gets the sun all day long, so it isn’t freezing either. Whilst the complex is on a main road and above restaurants, because this specific apartment faces in on the gardens, it is so peaceful and tranquil. One of the best gyms on the Costa del Sol is a ten minute walk away, and proper supermarkets are also ten minutes away by foot. I’m incredibly grateful to have experienced such a professional Airbnb experience - thank you.

We had a very comfortable 4 week stay at Yulias apartment,it was very clean and very central for all of the shops and restaurants in the area. The apartment had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The beach with long walks on the board walk was 5 minutes away with many lovely chiringuitos to choose from. Public transport is very close with regular buses to Marbella or Malaga. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a stay in Calahonda.

Everything was very well coordinated in advance and the check-in was very easy and good. The apartment is very nice and tastefully furnished, the location is very good and the view is simply wonderful. I felt very comfortable and thank Christian and Alfonso for the always friendly support.

Wishlist! Very warm apartment, we had a good time with the family :) The apartment is very well equipped, we particularly enjoyed the parasol, the sand toys and the beach towels! The pool and children's park were ideal for the family! Thanks Daniel:)

Beautiful setting, could see the sea from balcony, lovely swimming pool with plenty of garden area to sit. We hired a car but plenty of nearby restaurants and shops with no need for a car.

We stayed in Jackie's apartment from late May to early June 2025. We had a nice week there. The rooms were clean and met the description and expectations. Very nice that there is an opportunity to watch a Netflix series or movie. The Wi-Fi also works very well. With Bluetooth, you can play music through the soundbar. Even though there is no air conditioning, you can keep the bedroom nice and cool with good/smart ventilation. The time of year also helps because the nights are still cool. The washing machine is nice to have with the beach towels laundry. The beach is at walking distance. Delicious restaurants are also nearby and, moreover, often by the sea. We had a fabulous time at the apartment. So many good things to say but some highlights are: - Great communication in advance of our stay; - 2 terrace areas (table, chairs, loungers, BBQ); - welcome basket; - fantastic promenade from apartment to marina and restaurants (2km walk with beach bars along the way); - everything you need in the apartment (pool towels, linen, shower gel, cleaning products, utensils); and - quiet location (we slept so well!) but plenty to do nearby. Loved our stay at Jesus’ place - it is beautifully presented and even better in person than in the pictures. Had everything we needed and appreciated the extra touches like water, crisps cans of drink etc on arrival - very thoughtful. The place is a great location - equal distance to old town and puerto banus so not too expensive by cab either way. The terrace is so gorgeous with lovely views and the pool is also lovely, clean and quiet. We will definitely be coming back.

Apartment and views are beautiful and exactly as per the pictures. We had to contact Karen a couple of times and she was really helpful and responsive. As you arrive, the apartment building is on a really busy road and we weren’t able to park so then had to circle back round and do (what felt at the time with kids and suitcases) a long walk from the car via the busy road to get to the apartment. But soon forgotten once inside. You have the most beautiful views over the sea and beach and such a lovely apartment with everything you need. We spent everyday on the beach and it felt really safe for our family. The boardwalk along the coast is lovely for a stroll, though for evenings we preferred taking the 20min drive to Mijas Pueblo. It’s a beautiful, sleepy mountain town and we found the food way better. Great stay and base with the best views for a relaxing beach holiday.

The apartment was in a great location, with amazing views. Walkable to a lot of great restaurants and there is a little supermarket next door which is perfect for supplies. Host was extremely responsive and very helpful.
