In a Falu-red timber cabin on a farm, you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna has to offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs, you will find this small farmhouse with rooming three people. The cottage was renovated in 2023, the bathroom in 2018. Within walking distance, there is a kiosk and grocery store, and a little further up in the village, there is a café, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming area. Within 20 minutes' drive, there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget ski slope and cross-country skiing.

Welcome to my cabin in Gopshus! This is where you go to lower your heart rate. The cottage is located at the end of a promontory by Lake Spjutmosjön and the view from the kitchen window is something very special. It was built in the 1950s and renovated in 2008 (not the bathroom). In the kitchen you have to challenge yourself in cooking on the wood stove, which is not so difficult if you think about baking and soufflés where exact temperatures are necessary. 🙂 In the living room, there is a fireplace and sofa bed for two. Possibility of extra beds are available.

The price is not included in the regular house rental. Although the house is located in nice and quiet area, it is only 5 minutes to the hospital and 8 minutes to shopping center.

The cottage is in a quiet residential area with a 500-meter walk to central Mora with the Zorn Museum and proximity to the Vasaloppet Museum, the Vasaloppet finish line, 1 1/5 kilometers to Hemus where the Vasaloppet arena for skiing, running and cycling is located. Tomteland is about 1.5 miles away and worth a visit. The forest is close for lovely walks and spending time. Siljan is within walking distance to the swimming area/Saxviken or the swimming area/Kepphusviken at Mora Park

Our wonderful garden with apple trees, raspberries, flowers, etc. Here you can rest and charge your batteries. It is about 3 km to Orsa city center . Rich bird life. 20 min. to Grönklitt. Orsasjön with long-distance skating and ski tracks. 15 km to Mora and Vasaloppet.

The house is located near scenic Lintjärn and there you can take a dip in the evenings. We also have a gas station and Våmhus Handlarn where you can buy various foods, etc. about 1.9 km away. To Våmåbadet and Camping about 1.5 km
