Gammelgården ligger belägen i en trevlig by som heter Övermyra/Österberg, 2km öster om Storvik. Avstånd till närliggande orter är Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Busshållplats 4 min promenad. Huset är timrat i Ottsjö Jämtland och räddades från ödehusdöden då det flyttades hit. Inredningen är unik med svenska historiska möbler och föremål. Close to both forest and lake. 200 meters to Hedströmmen - you can both see and hear the steam from the cottage. It is five minutes by car to the child-friendly bathing area Sandviksbadet in Långsvan. In addition, there are several bathing areas and canoe trails nearby.

Fiska från bryggan eller hyr vår plastbåt med elmotor (150kr/halvdag 8-12, 12-16). Fiskekort 50kr/ dag.
