We had a wonderful stay! The house is fantastically located in a beautiful and peaceful environment—perfect for relaxing and exploring the area. We did a great day trip to the Vestkapp, which was absolutely worth it. Lina was very responsive and helpful when we needed some assistance. Highly recommended!

Beyond beautiful! The stunning location is something our family (kids 12 & 15) will remember always. Waking up and looking out at the view was almost surreal. We especially loved meals on the deck and a short walk down to the water to swim. The cabin had everything we needed and is super cute and clean. Tons to explore a short distance away. Anne’s unique and historic home was perfect! She is responsive, helpful, kind, and just a wonderful host. The house has such a fun history and it was very cozy, especially the back room. The town itself is quiet in the best way and everyone was friendly. Great location in close driving distance to Stryn, Loen, Geiranger. Thank you, Anne, for all your hospitality! I’d come again!

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. We liked the place very much and we can only recommend it. The large window front and the views of water and mountains are really great. We enjoyed it every day. The place is spacious, nicely decorated and it was clean. Communication went mostly well. Miriam was very friendly. We felt very comfortable and would come back.

This was our first visit to the Norway; traveling from North Carolina, USA. Åshild's place was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful and clean. Perfect location for exploring the area. She was the perfect host, there if we needed her but not intrusive. We'd stay here again if we're ever back in the area. Highly recommend.

A lovely apartment, right on the water with incredible views. The art work in the apartment was really great- lots of Norwegian artists, like a mini museum. Easy walk to the city center. Kiwi Market for groceries was close by. There's an excellent Indian restaurant, Rasoi Ålesund, nearby that we really enjoyed. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it for your time in Ålesund.

Very nice place in a fantastic location. Only 18 min to the beach and 12 min to the beach ski center. Can recommend this place good price.

Kristin is warm, super friendly and proactive. Made us feel right at home :) House is nicely curated and has everything you need. Just 15 mins from the city centre, gives best of the both worlds - peaceful and yet all the places are easily accessible.

We had a lovely stay at Eddie's cabin. We had plenty of space, a beautiful view, & everything we needed. The cabin is quietly situated in a valley close to the most amazing mountain & fjord scenery. It is a calm & tranquil place to return to after a day in the mountains. Hope to return one day.

Wonderfull house with a big garden located directly on the lake beside a nice river. Highly recommended for families with nice playing area and private garden with very nice view on the lake
