Delightful one bedroom log cabin

Get away from it all when you stay in a very special, cozy log cabin in a beautiful nature setting right beside the rail trail and lots of beautiful rivers and lakes near by. This unique cabin has a sink with running water, a fridge, micro wave and a coffee bar with a coffee machine where you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting on a barstool. A very comfortable couch is pulled out into a double bed. There is a picnic table on the porch. This cabin comes with its own outhouse for your safety.

Accommodating up to 6 guests, it has a private queen bedroom, a loft with a king bed, and a hide-a-bed. Enjoy home-cooked meals in the full kitchen or on the bbq. With laundry services, breathtaking views, and included firewood, your getaway promises a perfect blend of comfort and nature's beauty.

Located just off the Main street in Nakusp, near restaurants and stores, the lake and beautiful boardwalk. A small and cozy suite, this air conditioned unit has a kitchenette serviced with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and dishes . Washer/dryer in suite. Private bathroom. Queen sized bed. Plenty of parking. We have a no pets and no smoking policy. Hot springs, mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing in winter, kayaking, boating and swimming in the summer.

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed or take a bath in the outdoor tub (May - Oct). Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

A 5 min walk to a sandy beach to sunbathe, swim or water sports & a 7 min drive to Nakusp. 30 minutes to a soak at Nakusp, Halcyon, Halfway and St. Leon hot springs. Two extra comfortable queen beds, a luxurious kitchen & laundry. Covered deck includes eating & lounging areas by a calming pond. A short stroll leads to a private hammock sanctuary overlooking Baerg Creek. Hike Saddle Mnt. Stroll the waterfront walkway. Mtn bike Mt. Abriel.

Sun Beam Retreat

A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private, unshared outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and linen robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Kaapittiaq Coffee and tea from Virtue Tea.

Gnome Creek Cabin

Small cabin with a creek running underneath and surrounded by trees! A second cabin with a twin bed is available as well and the two cabins have a shared bathroom in a separate building with a bathtub and a outdoor shower! 10 minutes to Kokanee Provincial Park with hiking and mountain bike trails galore! Relax in the hammock, have a campfire and cook up dinner with the outdoor bbq/kitchen area!
