Fantastic stay! Great host. The place smelled like a spa when I arrived. Clean and comfortable. I would stay again for sure.

We absolutely love this home and hope to come back to stay again soon. Did not even realize we were going to have a lake view. Rented this place in a hurry and mostly because it had a hot tub and was very reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised in the morning when we stepped out on the patio to see the surrounding greenery and lake view. Don’t forget the bald eagle, my husband said. Breathtaking.

Lost in the Woods is an absolutely beautiful cabin. The surrounding woods and the view of the Cumberland are amazing. It's very close to Carthage, which has a some nice restaurants and a great coffee shop, as well as a grocery store if you need anything. The drive to it on Turkey Creek Highway is a bit twisty and turny, but taking it slow and careful will get you there no problem. The Cordell Hull Dam, trails, and Defeated Creek Marina are also nearby. The cabin itself was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We used the bedroom upstairs, and the bed was very clean and comfortable. We'll definitely stay again if we are in the area and able. Hands down one of the best places we've stayed at. One of my favorite moments was waking up at 5am and hear the absolute menagerie of birds singing in the woods. As a host, Samantha was amazing. Very friendly, responsive and proactive. She gave excellent directions and we had no problems checking in.

I’ve lost track of the number of times we’ve stayed at Rickey’s properties, but whenever we’re in town we always try to stay at this house. It’s spotless and Rickey is extremely welcoming. He even remembered what type of coffee we prefer and had some waiting for us when we arrived! The house is stocked with extra toiletries in case you forget something. Rickey is so easy to communicate with, very responsive, and gives great information about the area and the house. As always, we will definitely stay here again!
