Jerad’s home was the most equipped house we’ve stayed at - which is extra important and impressive given the location being a bit more remote of a location. The peace and beauty of the river and mountains from the back porch was well worth every penny spent!

We had a wonderful stay! We're a family with three young boys under the age of 8, and the home worked really well for us overall. A couple of small suggestions that might help future guests: it gets very bright upstairs in the early morning — our kids were up at 4:30am on the first day! Curtains or blackout shades would make a big difference. We ended up using foil as a quick fix, which worked well. The location is fantastic — just steps from the beach. For families with young kids (or older guests), a small set of portable stairs down to the sand would be helpful. We temporarily moved the hot tub steps to make it easier, which worked in a pinch. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked for cooking, and the neighborhood is peaceful with absolutely stunning views. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay!

My girls and I celebrated my bachelorette here, it was so wonderful to sit on the patio and enjoy the views of the water and Olympic Mountain Range.

My wife and I celebrated our 49th anniversary…and spent a week there. It was the BEST! The home, the view , the beach, the owners of the place…the beds…everything! I would recommend it to anyone wanting a little getaway…it is very quiet…and walking the beach is a marvelous experience! Anyone who goes will not be disappointed!

Very comfortable, very nice house that is well stocked for a longer stay. Great location on a small river that made evening dining a real treat. Really needed the central air conditioning as it was over 90.

The whole family was impressed with the location. It was simply beautiful, with the ocean only a few steps away from the back door. We saw eagles almost every day while we relaxed on the patio, and being from the midwest we all got a kick from observing the tide come in and out. It was also a great location as a home base to drive around and see the sights. The house is about an hour north of Seattle, an easy drive. We also took a day trip to Vancouver, which was one of the nicest cities we've ever visited. The house itself was clean and had everything you might need. Even the mattress was a pleasant surprise, my bad back never bothered me, which is unusual when I travel. Highlights included a wonderful whale watching excursion we took from a town called Anacortes, about 40 mins north of the house. We followed a pod of Orcas for about an hour and a half and had a blast. I also recommend the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor museum in Everett. It has an amazing collection.

Jenn provided everything one needed for a perfect beach retreat. Beautiful views of the bay from every window. Quiet, private location, perfect homebase for exploring the area or just stay put and relax.

Stayed here with my spouse for a weekend where we were going to a wedding. This was a perfect, peaceful getaway and everything we hoped for. Hope to be back soon!

Yes for sure the snacks were a great touch. So yup for sure dude! We loved this place. Like all around it was a great getaway for Valentine’s Day. The location was great, and the place was clean, and Soo yes for sure I’d really recommend this place to darn near anyone looking for a getaway.

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing retreat. Like other reviewers have mentioned, when the tide comes in, it’s like the house is on the water. It was lovely to hear the waves crashing and to go walking on the beach. We only saw a few people from far away at the beach over the few days we stayed. It was cool at night in mid June and the space heaters provided in every room (in the closet for water facing bedroom) kept us nice and toasty at night. The bed was comfortable and towels fluffy. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home! My friend ad I stayed for 3 days to get out of the city and spend some time just in nature. We saw eagles and took a mud walk and had a lovely fire pit. The house was exactly as described and we had an excellent time. Also the bunk beds are FULL beds so they have quite a lot of space if you wanted to have 3 people in separate beds you absolutely could. We had excellent weather but it wasn't warm enough for water sports.

To say that the view was gorgeous is an understatement. The pictures do not do the house and view justice if that's possible cause the pictures had us stunned, but being there in person was so much more. The host was very friendly, house was absolutely amazing, so clean, open, breathtaking.

We really enjoyed our stay. Key highlight was sitting in the hot tub and watching the weather roll across the water. Kristen is an excellent host

Kara’s house is clean and just as pictured. We appreciated all the details to make us feel at home, even a basket of extra toiletries. We loved being able to walk across the road (which is very quiet) and be at the beach. We were lucky enough to see some seals. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs as well. We’ll be staying again!

We had a wonderful time at Stanwood, everything you can think of was available. The VIEWS, activities, bbq, jacuzzi etc…we are definitely coming back and telling our family and friends.

We so loved a second stay here with our six adult children and partners. Super cute and beautiful 80’s retro home. We will be back.

What an awesome place! Everyone loved it. The beds were comfy and the views were otherworldly. The water everywhere was gorgeous. All the little touches were thoughtful, such as the kayaks and cornhole. We loved hanging out here. The host was very responsive and thoughtful during check-in. We’d happily return!

I can't say enough about this treasure of a house! The location is stunning, special thoughtful touches everywhere. The jukebox and pool table were a very fun unexpected addition to our weekend. This house has soul! You can tell it's really been loved over the years. So clean, everything so well labeled. It way surpassed our expectations. Despite the detailed listing and all the photos it really has to be felt and experienced in person to really appreciate what a special spot it is. I will definitely book it again in a heartbeat.

By far the best experience I’ve had with an Airbnb! Talked to the host a few times before our stay and she gave so much information and was beyond helpful. We got to check in early which was amazing. We loved the flexibility with check in/check out times. We had an absolute blast. Nothing better than being right on the water. My nephews had a blast walking the beach and looking for shells. We lucked out and had beautiful weather the whole weekend. My siblings took the kayaks out a few times and seen all kinds of starfish. The house was absolutely beautiful. We spent most of our time out on the back deck looking for whales, which we did see one of the days we were there! We will absolutely be coming back. I can’t wait to spend my next birthday there! I highly recommend this place! You won’t regret it!
