Cori's apartment was exactly what I wanted for a few days of 'me' time. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and the whole apartment is comfortable, tastefully furnished, warm and had everything I needed. The shower was hot with great water pressure. I couldn't understand the TV so didn't bother with it in the end (probably down to me!) Walking distance of town and the lake and perfect to come home to after a day in the hills. I will come again!

We had a very enjoyable Easter break at Tracy’s. Great location by the lake & easy walk into town. The place is cozy with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We’d love to come back in winter.

Our family had a great time. Such a beautiful location and (recently-ish internally painted) home in Crackenback was exactly what we needed for a getaway with plenty of action and time to relax. We walked to the Kosciusko summit, did the alpine coaster at Thredbo, rode the Thredbo Valley Track and local Crackenback trails on our mountain bikes, paddled on Lake Crackenback, had leisurely strolls while spotting wildlife and self-catered in the well-appointed kitchen as well as had a couple meals out in Jindabyne. We needed more time! I'm sure we'll be back!

Jo’s place was perfect for us cosy & clean with a beautiful outlook over the lake. Precisely what we needed after a day exploring the mountains to come back & sit on the balcony, wander down to the lake or an easy walk into town for dinner. We would definitely stay again.

The studio apartment was well appointed and very comfortable, comfy king bed with lovely white linen. Apartment was well laid out and had gorgeous views over the lake. Easy stroll to shops and restaurants. There was work going on at the complex but not on the weekend we stayed. Dean was a good host, providing prompt, friendly and helpful communication.

This was a beautiful, cosy place that was ideal for our Jindabyne stay. We really appreciated the design details that gave the property a relaxed sophistication. The fireplace made the living room warm and inviting - that open plan living, dining and kitchen area are an ideal hub of the home. All the little extras (coffee bags, milk and biscuits) were a great touch and the beds super comfy. The separate bathroom for the kids was also much appreciated. And to top it off, the view of the lake was stunning and we enjoyed taking a stroll and enjoying the close connection to nature. We will absolutely be back!

My family stayed at Sarah’s place over the Easter long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Specially during the sunrise time the lake and valley looked picturesque. To quote my 4 year old nephew, “this place is amazing”. Sarah was always responded to messages with great care and provided clear instructions to check in. She is indeed a super host.

Photos don’t do this place justice!! We had the most amazing stay at platypus cottage. The facilities were perfect, very clean and good amount of cooking/ dining equipment. The location was amazing right on the river with privacy and lots of spots to go for a swim. We would highly recommend platypus cottage and are all already talking about when we can come back! The place was extremely clean, spacious, and well-organized. The interior decor appeared brand new and was very comfortable. The host kindly helped us join the beds together, which we greatly appreciated. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with all essentials, including a hairdryer, curling iron, and moisturizer. We especially enjoyed the beautiful beach view and had such a relaxing time there. Highly recommended!

Kelli was a great host and the accommodation was as described. We were hoping for snow and lucked it with the weather, opening the blinds to snow was pure magic for us and our kids. The house and inclusions (bath bombs, clothes washing powder, games and toys and some champers for mum and dad) made it a great family friendly base and enjoyable stay. The drive up to Selwyn area was easy and there was plenty of snow around on the way for a play, without needing to purchase lift tickets (perfect for littlies wanting to have a play but aren't up to a full day). The drive into yarangobilly with the snow was also a beautiful sight. A great location to explore both places! Highly recommend ❄️

Great location. Simple house but clean and warm

We had a fantastic stay! The house was even better than it looked in the photos - spacious, cosy, and full of warmth. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably, and while the heaters worked well, we barely needed them at night thanks to the incredibly warm blankets. The location is perfect - peaceful and quiet, with stunning views, yet just a short distance to the lake, walking trails, shops, and restaurants. The living area is very inviting and easily accommodates a group. A few minor drawbacks: the BBQ is electric and quite small, and the oven wasn’t particularly strong, so if you’re planning to cook meat, it’s worth considering alternative methods. Also, there wasn’t enough toilet paper provided for a group of nine staying three nights, so we had to purchase more ourselves. That said, the host acknowledged the feedback, promising to consider this for future guests. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!
