The house has a view to the forest and river, and has big windows to let in lots of light and most importantly - the nature. The outside area consists of an incredibly beautiful riverside front, with a wooden deck with a log table and benches, fire place by the river and pitoresque seats overlooking the river and forest. Balestrand is a small village located in Sogn og Fjordane and it has a population of 1,300 inhabitants approx. It is a very touristic place where you can find souvenir shops, tourist offices, supermarkets, medical centers, museum, aquarius, several restaurants and coffee shops.
