Holiday rentals with lake access in Sognefjord

We loved our stay at Johanne’s place. The apartment itself was very chic and cozy and was outfitted with everything we need. We especially loved: - the dock and outdoor furniture - the rowboat to explore the surrounding area and take advantage of our long nights - the very helpful instructions and recs from our hosts - the truly incredible Thai takeaway restaurant literally next door Take note that the spot is pretty close to a main roadway so you will hear cars passing by at a distance. Overall though, the space and hosts were amazing and we’d definitely come back!

Definitely one of my most beautiful rented homes on Airbnb. The house is decorated with care, feet in the water, calm, kindness of Torstein and Ida. We are the opposite of the anonymous key boxes that are multiplying everywhere. I would recommend it 100%

Old house with the character of Bergen. Great location, easy walking into centre and restaurants. Good parking for car, all amenities in house you’ll need. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Can highly recommend.

We had a cozy two days, despite the bad weather. Very lovingly furnished cottage and hassle-free and easy communication with the hostess.

Our stay was wonderful. The bus system was close by to travel into town, and the view was magical. Everything we needed was provided and felt comfortable like home. If we travel to Bergen again, we will definitely stay again.

Great location - close to center but in a very quiet and peaceful area. The apartment was very nice and looks just like the pictures!

This is a perfect location to have as a base as you travel through the Fjords. We had a car making it easy to get around. Nearest town is 10 mins and kitchen had everything you needed to make light meals. Sigrid was kind and we enjoyed our stay.

Svein was an excellent host. Clear communication and pleasant to talk to. Simple, tidy and well-equipped apartment with everything we needed for a good stay. Great for a family at a football tournament in Sogndal.

This beautiful little house offers a stunning panoramic view of the lake. You can enjoy the lake view from the living room, the bathroom, and the entrance of the house. The space is excellent for families. The host is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this charming accommodation based on my personal experience.

A really good stay with a responsive host. Beautiful view of the waterfall from the house along with the sound of the river. The house itself is decorated with vintage pieces making feel at home. It is sound proofed well to isolate the noise of the river. Well equipped kitchen and lots of space.

Very nice old little house in rural surroundings. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable and new bathroom. Listen between rooms/floors. Nice garden and patio. Very clean and tidy.

Johanne's house is very nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had maps of the region on site to explore the area. From the accommodation, you can go directly to the sea or to the mountains. We will be happy to come back.

Great place for a family holiday. the house has amazing views over the Fjord and mountains. so many activities in the area, such as hiking, via Ferrata, Skylift, Zip lining, and water activities. Our host Haldor was very friendly and a great help, he arranged 2 excursions for us, fishing and a visit to his family farm. the house is clean, spacious, well equipped with all modern amenities, and has a great location close to many attractions in Norway, such as Geiranger, Trollstigen, and many more. I would definitely recommend this place for a large family.

Ok: if you're into resting & doing some work at a peaceful location then this is it! Cozy, warm, everything works. (If you're there to have a party, then stay far far away from it - the place is calm and peaceful and doesn't need you turning on your lousy, cheap JBL and howling towards the mountains "how amazing you are for existing" ) Anyhow :D , it's one of the pearls of planet: no tourism - just natural beauty and being. If you haven't had a farm-/summerhouse, you might be a bit "stuck up", how everything isn't entirely spot clean or new, but for humans, it's a sincere, cozy place that has been treated with respect - and you should too ! ;) I'll bring my stingy attitude (because I really enjoyed it and wish it lasted for decades) a bit more down and say: go and have a great time! It's a real experience (especially if you're from a flat land)! :)

We had a great stay despite the rain, the house was lovely and cosy. The boys loved being near the fjord and beach. The sauna unexpected extra. Sverre was easy to contact and friendly. The whole experience was super laidback. Thank goodness the sun came out for our last couple of days.
