Fresh air in quiet forest environment

All on its own, at the edge of our property is our little cottage in a forest clearing. It's calm and quiet here. Only nature and at a stone's throw distance, there is a warm swimming lake. The whole area is traversed by lovely walking paths and it is just under one km down to the bay. Herrbret, which we call the cottage, has a lovely deck in a sunny position in the front. Everything is fresh and newly built in the old-style but with modern standards and equipment. The cottage is intended as a nice relaxing oasis for two people in the vicinity of nature

Enjoy this unique and peaceful space with the sea at your feet. Take a boat to surrounding islands, run or walk on the trails, sauna at the sunset in your own wood-fired sauna at the end of the jetty or swim by the beach, it's nature experiences at their best. Shop is on the island so you can pack lightly, get out into the archipelago with the ferry that runs several times a day and just enjoy! Small motor boat included in the reservation. Also ping pong table and boule court! The house is available and warm all year round! Welcome!

The cottage is located high up. Sun much of the day/evening. Natural plot shared with main building. Neighbors are around, not close, you can help yourself. The cottage has a large bright living room, a smaller bedroom, a mini kitchen as well as a toilet with shower, washing machine and dryer. three km to the sea and child-friendly swimming. Both near the cottage and at Värmdö there are scenic areas for recreation. Two km to the bus stop with direct bus to Slussen/Stockholm. Seven km to a grocery store. Two bicycles are available.

Borrow the SUP, hike along Värmdöleden or go to Strömma Canal and watch the boats pass by. Enjoy unparalleled lake views from both the hot tub and tea sofa and don't be surprised if a deer passes by. Since the host couple themselves sometimes recharge their batteries here, the kitchen is fully equipped and the decor chosen with the utmost care.

The cottage can be reached by car or 1 hour by bus 434 from Slussen. 1 km from the bus stop Fjällsvik. In Djurhamn, 7 km away, there is an ICA, bakery and restaurants. 15-minute walk to various swimming areas in the sea or lake. There is a sandy beach, rock bathing or jetties to swim from. The cottage is located on the host family's property and is accessed by stairs. Duvets and pillows are available for up to four people. Sheets and towels can be rented for SEK 100/person. Please let us know in advance.

Main building features two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a charming glass veranda with a dining table. Decks facing southwest and east. Additionally, two newly built guesthouses offer two beds each and private sun decks. Air conditioning is available in all buildings.

Wonderful little house in the heart of unspoiled nature (forest, wild blueberries, deer), 10 min walk to the sea, the small port and a beautiful swimmable lake. The place is peaceful and perfect for discovering this part of the archipelago (ferry to some surrounding islands, Stockholm 1 hour by bus). Inger is a charming, considerate hostess, available for all kinds of recommendations, who lives nearby (ideal for a few questions or help tomorrow). We had a great stay with family.

A very atmospheric home in a beautiful place. A few hundred meters from the place to bathe, the marina from where the ferry departs to Stockholm (a wonderful, almost 3-hour cruise through the Archipelago) and a few tens of meters from the bus that transports easily and quickly to Stockholm ;-) Next to an ice cream factory with an exhibition of classic cars. Tranquility and deer ... a perfect getaway. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The only drawback is the smell of water in the tap (a note of hydrogen sulfide), although after a while we got used to it.

We had a great stay at Carl's place. We loved the silence and nature around the house and on the island. The house is at walking distance (15 min) from the buss to Stockholm city (appr 1 hour). There is a lot of deers and foxes in the area and we were lucky to have spotted an "älg" close to the house. The communication with the host worked perfectly and was very friendly.
