Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Solothurn

This year, we visited Marcello & Sandra’s lovely home once again. As always, it’s a clean, charming, and stylish place. It’s also a peaceful, quiet, and calm Airbnb home. Marcello answered all our questions and was always helpful whenever we needed anything. He is a very attentive and warm host. We’re thinking of staying here again.

We stayed in this beautiful atypical apartment for a long weekend. We were greeted very warmly and toured the house. The house offers everything you need for everyday use. Spending time at Sabrina's is so comforting. It's the second time for us, and it felt lukewarm we never left we found everything we needed, and more. The view from the rooms each morning were cleaning off the fuzzy brains we came with from work. Very well positioned, the location allows reaching all important travel marks, within short drives or walls. Interlaken being 10 mins away, and supermarkets being open for longer hours than usually are in Seitzerland, allows proper refill of the fridge, in case cooking is desired for the family. Kitchen worth mentioning is equipped with performant appliances, and kitchenware completes fully the need one may have; both for small families as well as 6 persons as the max capacity is. We had a lovely weekend at Sabine's. The house is big, welcoming and clean! Games are available for the kids to play. Really like "at Grandma's" Sabine and her family were attentive, helpful and above all very available. Thanks! We recommend! Perfect walking distance from the farm 2km. Bicycle ride The sun was at the rendezvous, we were able to have our meals outside in the shade of the lime trees. What happiness!

We were there with the family and the grandmother. The house offers enough space for everyone :) The location is awesome; in 2 minutes at the lake (via the meadow). Large terrace with morning sun! We made the trip with public transport. That's possible, the bus runs every hour in both directions. Without luggage, the station can be reached in 20 minutes, with luggage it is more like 30 minutes.

According to our employees, a really nice accommodation, where nothing was missing. They come to everyone again.

Maja's little apartment is a nice and quiet place for one person. Large bed, small but efficient kitchen and nice bathroom is everything you need for a stay in Basel. The closeness to public transport, restaurants and shops makes it a place you don't want to miss.

Maria's place is lovely and well kept - exactly as pictured. The kitchen is quite large and easy to cook in. Two bathrooms is always a plus. There is free laundry in the basement, which came in handy on our 2 week trip. The apartment is walking distance to the train station and boat ramp making it accessible to Lucerne. Just a note - there is no TV (which should not be a surprise) - just in case someone really wants one. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, which helped cool the bedrooms at night. We would definitely stay here again if in the area and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the city without the hustle and bustle of the city.

The stay at Janine's apartment was excellent! A spacious apartment. Clean, bright, with beautiful views, very well equipped! Spacious apartment with all necessities, conveniently located near public transportation and grocery store. My two weeks there were very enjoyable. A five-minute walk takes you to the bus, which brings you to the center of Bern in ten minutes. Or in the other direction, the bus takes you to Koeniz, where you can find numerous shops. Veronika was very helpful whenever I needed anything. I will definitely stay there again! Thank you.

The apartment perfectly matches the description provided by the host: excellent location of the house compared to the center, a stone's throw from the river, in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood; the house is spacious, cozy and well stocked with everything you need, we had a great time in 4 with two children. We have taken advantage of the Basel cards that allow free transportation and a 50% discount to the Zoo (beautiful!) and the museums of the city (particularly suitable for the little ones also the one dedicated to the Swiss sculptor Jean Tinguely). Julian was a great host: always helpful, extremely courteous, it was a real pleasure to meet him, we also followed various tips on places to visit and where to eat.

Nice apartment, spacious living area, comfortable bed,nice balcony, kitchen quite small but fully equipped. Very peaceful area but only a few minutes walk to local supermarket, train station and the village pub! Thun is a short drive away or a couple of hours walk on the riverside path. The pub served typical pub meals, they were large and cheap. Annemarie and her daughter were both very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very warm welcome! We felt very welcome. Great garden for shared use, especially for a family. Pool, table tennis, trampoline... Large, clean apartment. Everything available. Restaurants, attractions and shopping are within walking distance. We felt very comfortable.

It was very pleasant that we were able to check in even later in the evening. It was all totally straightforward. Communication was excellent. We were very warmly welcomed. Our host even baked a typical cake in the area. This was a great surprise. We felt very comfortable in the spacious apartment. The cozy and cuddly bed gave us a wonderful sleep. Everything around the apartment is green, circling storks above our heads, very idyllic. The village center can be easily reached on foot, where there are two very good bakeries, various restaurants with French cuisine and the usual snack options (kebab, pizza & co). In any case, we rested very well here, even if our stay of 2 nights was unfortunately very short.

This place was fantastic - stunning house with stunning view. Just was extremely friendly and communicative and gave us lots of local recommendations. The house is really wonderful - spotless and large. We were able to explore the area really easily (Interlaken and Thun) and had a really amazing time. Great value also. Would highly recommend.

We stopped at Evelyne’s place for a 1 night stop-over half way through a long journey. Travelling with a baby & a dog, the appartment was perfect for our needs. Clean, big, equipped with a cot & a garden to give the dog a run-around. Evelyne let us check in early when we arrived ahead of schedule which was much appreciated, and was very warm and welcoming. Inge is a great host. She made sure we knew how to get to her apartment and printed Baselcard transit passes for us. The first floor apartment is located in a quiet and lovely neighborhood and has good WiFi, all amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and access to a pleasant back yard. Inge even provided milk, bread, eggs and fruit for our stay. We would be happy to stay here again on future trips.

Our stay at Cécile's went very well. The place was easy to get to and very clean. The terrace is a real plus. The accommodation is located in a residential area 30 minutes' walk from the city of Fribourg, with a parking space in front of the accommodation. We would recommend this listing.

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive or train ride to nearby towns and attractions

Elsi is a very sweet hostess. She wants to help you with everything if necessary, but also lets you enjoy your holiday. Beautiful cottage and equipped with all comforts. A top location! We will definitely come back😉
