Limited to one group per day, it is a small building, so 2-3 people can relax. The building is made of natural materials such as plaster walls, rice husk floors, and bedrooms made of Hinoki wood from Mie Prefecture, so you can relax with peace of mind. In winter, you can use the wood stove. Special acoustic wooden speakers let you listen to music on records, CDs, and Bluetooth. You can also have a simple farming experience in the fields of the June Farm, where we grow pesticide-free vegetables. (Reservations required, fee applies) You can fully enjoy the blessings of nature that are different from your usual life in the city. You can cook for yourself using seasonal pesticide-free vegetables and Matsusaka beef from a nearby butcher shop. You can enjoy freshly ground coffee with a hand mill. I have lived in Iga Ueno for a few years. Growing up in a residential area, living in a castle town was a new experience for me. This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. There are many areas where nature remains, but few areas where the old townscape remains intact. I want to preserve this townscape. To that end, I want many people to experience a nostalgic way of life and culture. As such a place, we renovated a row house left by our ancestors and opened it as the Daiji, a soy sauce shop that had closed. You are always welcome! Nishimura-tei Hanare - 100-year-old old house with a kitchen & dining room

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Although you can come by public transportation, it is more convenient to come by car as it is quite a rural area. The hot spring is 5 minutes by car. It takes 20 minutes by car to the castle town of Iga Ueno. 25 minutes to Mokumoku Farm. 30 minutes to Igayaki no Sato. 45 minutes to Suzuka Circuit. 50 minutes to Akame Shijuhachi Falls National Park. 1 hour to Ise Jingu. 1 hour to Horyuji Temple.

We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.

There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
