A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

HoToLo was honored to cooperate as a filming location for NHK’s drama “Radio Star,” which started on March 30. HoToLo appeared in Episode 22 and will also appear in the episodes airing on May 18 and 19. As early summer arrives, Soni Village is filled with fresh greenery and glowing fireflies.
