In this house, the landlord's family of three and an elderly dog (currently undergoing intensive care) live together. This is a relaxed, owner-occupied accommodation where guests are welcomed into the owner's everyday life. We pride ourselves on the richness of our seasonal expressions. In spring, the weeping cherry trees in our garden burst into bloom, and in summer, at night, the sky is filled with stars, making us wonder, “Are these real?”It will rain at that level. In autumn, the mountains behind the property turn bright red like a work of art, and in winter, although it is extremely cold, the wood-burning stove keeps us warm. We have two private rooms and can accommodate up to six people! Other guests may be staying at the same time, but everyone can share the common areas and enjoy a relaxed, mountain-cabin-style experience! You may also hear the sounds of daily life and the breathing (and occasional snoring) of our senior dogs, but I would be delighted if you could enjoy these as part of the “authentic satoyama background music.” Please relax and enjoy the fact that you've made it to the top of the hill.
